Going Premium

It was about to go premium. It felt a little sudden.

As usual, I should post a few thoughts. What should I say?

First, thank you to all the readers who had supported me all this time, especially those who gave tips, voted with monthly passes, and recommendation votes. Second, thank you to my editor, Qing Hu, for the support.

Let me talk a little about this book. Before publishing it, I had actually considered adding the words "Primordial World" to the title. My editor had also suggested it before the trial recommendation. The reason I did not add it was because I had considered the later story. There would be quite a few "traditional mythology" elements, and the differences from mainstream Primordial World stories might grow larger and larger. I did not want readers to form preconceived notions.

Lastly, there was the matter of updates.

When I signed the contract, I wrote that the story would end at one million words. That was assuming the results were poor; if they were good, I would definitely write more.

Before signing, there was one update a day. After signing, it stabilized at two. On the day it went premium, there would be a burst of ten updates. After that, there would be a stable three updates a day for three months—April, May, and June.

Attentive readers had probably noticed that each chapter was longer than the last. After three months, the word count per chapter would not be low, so continuing to reliably update three times a day probably would not be very realistic.

As for bonus updates, one extra chapter for a Hall Master, and ten extra chapters upon receiving the Premium badge. That was all!
