Judging from the tools and behavior these apes used, they had clearly entered the stage of modern civilization.

The meteor tore through the heavens, then silently burst apart.

After the test tube burst, a faintly colored gas dispersed into the air before vanishing from sight.

An exceptionally tall ape received the message and hurried to the Defense Department.

The Defense Department personnel immediately questioned him upon hearing the news.

"Everyone there is dead. Not just our kin—the other animals there are all dead too."
The ape who had come to report the news was panting heavily, his face filled with terror.
The person who had been preparing to contact someone abruptly turned and stared at him in horror. "What did you say?"
