The saleswoman saw Li Mu Chuan immediately ask to try on more than a dozen outfits, so she promptly stepped forward and took the clothes down for him.
The first outfit handed to Li Mu Chuan was a light blue casual suit.
Li Mu Chuan took the clothes into the fitting room. A moment later, he had changed and walked out.
The clothes were quite good. They felt comfortable to the touch, didn't feel restrictive when worn, and fit very nicely.
That was Li Mu Chuan's first impression.
He then left the fitting room, walked up to the mirror, and examined himself closely.
Li Mu Chuan had always been somewhat handsome, but after putting on these clothes, his temperament changed noticeably, gaining a touch of elegance.
This outfit truly boosted Li Mu Chuan's looks considerably.
"Sir, this outfit suits you very well!"
Seeing this, the saleswoman hurried forward and said.
She truly meant it. This outfit really did suit Li Mu Chuan.
Li Mu Chuan gave a quiet acknowledgment and had the saleswoman bring over the remaining clothes for him to try on.
Next was a dark-colored vintage long coat. Li Mu Chuan felt that it made his bearing seem much more reserved, and he liked it quite a bit.
"This outfit is a little too small."
Li Mu Chuan walked out wearing the new outfit. The style was quite nice, but it felt a little tight when worn.
A closer look made it clear that the size was slightly too short.
"I'll get you a larger size right away, sir!"
Qiu Jiening hurriedly said upon hearing this.
The way Li Mu Chuan looked while trying on clothes did not make him seem like someone who had merely come to browse without buying.
More importantly, Li Mu Chuan had carried himself with confidence the entire time, making her feel that he was unlikely to be the sort of person who only came to try on clothes.
More than ten minutes later, Li Mu Chuan finally finished trying on all the clothes.
Aside from two outfits that he felt did not fit well, he thought the other eleven were all very good.
"I'll take these. Pack them all up."
Li Mu Chuan wore the light blue casual suit he had tried on first and asked the saleswoman to pack up the other dozen or so outfits.
Qiu Jiening froze for a moment. "A-All of them?"
"Yes. Card."
Li Mu Chuan replied calmly.
"Alright! Please wait a moment!"
Selling more than a dozen outfits at once delighted Qiu Jiening. She hurriedly folded the clothes, then took out the packaging bags.
She carefully packed them for Li Mu Chuan one by one.
"Can you deliver these clothes to my home?"
Li Mu Chuan did not want to carry so many things around everywhere.
"Yes, of course. Leave your address and a time, and I'll deliver them to you."
Qiu Jiening immediately replied. Customers like this had to be served well!
Li Mu Chuan gave her the address, then thought for a moment and said, "Around seven tonight. Just deliver them then."
By that time, he should have returned home.
Qiu Jiening nodded. After writing down Li Mu Chuan's contact information and address, she packed the clothes and set them aside.
Li Mu Chuan turned and left, heading to the shoe store next door to buy another pair of shoes.
At that moment, however, a salesperson from the 4s Store called Li Mu Chuan, saying that the car's modifications had been completed and they were ready to drive it over. They asked where he was.
Li Mu Chuan was delighted to hear that and directly gave them his address.
After hanging up, Li Mu Chuan finished putting together his new outfit, and it was already nearly noon.
"Apparently, the restaurant on the top floor is pretty good. I'll go up and grab something to eat."

Li Mu Chuan nodded. Just as he was about to say something, he spotted the supervisor's companions and realized they were all his former coworkers.
"What a coincidence. Is this a department dinner?"
It was Saturday, yet they had scheduled their gathering for today. That was really something.
"Yes. Our department closed a contract a few days ago, so I brought everyone out for a get-together. We'll arrange some other activities this afternoon too, so everyone can relax."
Miao Yingbo made it sound as if he were treating everyone, but Li Mu Chuan knew the expense could be reimbursed.
"Since we ran into each other, you might as well join us. I heard you still haven't found a job since resigning. Having to pay rent and eat without working can't be easy."
Miao Yingbo gestured for Li Mu Chuan to join them.
One more person or one less person did not make much difference.
Li Mu Chuan raised a brow. The only people he had told about not finding a job yet were Si Yu and Pan Jingjing.
He had known Si Yu for a long time, so she should not have been the one to say it. That left only Pan Jingjing.
Back when they worked at the company, that woman had particularly enjoyed spreading gossip, especially in the company group chat.
Li Mu Chuan had already left the group, so it was perfectly normal for her to bring this up there.
"Yeah, join us. We worked together before, so there's no need to feel awkward."
Another male coworker spoke up at that moment.
Li Mu Chuan had not been particularly close or distant with this coworker before. He was simply the kind of person who was quite kindhearted.

"Come on, join us. It's rare for us to run into each other like this."
Si Yu spoke as well. Her eyes were full of delight as she looked at Li Mu Chuan, as though she had not expected to encounter him here.
Li Mu Chuan had originally wanted to refuse. He no longer worked at the same company, and joining someone else's department dinner would truly feel a little uncomfortable.

At Si Yu's insistence, he could only follow them into the restaurant.

Miao Yingbo raised his glass and spoke to Li Mu Chuan.
The other coworkers followed suit, raising their glasses as well.
Li Mu Chuan stood, thanked his coworkers, and drank.
The atmosphere seemed rather cheerful, but Pan Jingjing's expression at the side was not quite so pleasant.
She had no idea what the supervisor was thinking, openly mentioning that Li Mu Chuan had no job.
Wouldn't that make him immediately guess that she was the one who had spread the news?
But on second thought, Li Mu Chuan no longer worked at the company. What did she have to fear?
Everyone present was a coworker from the same company. Li Mu Chuan was the only exception.
If anyone should feel awkward, it should be Li Mu Chuan.
