Li Mu Chuan handed the phone back to them and let them take their time looking at it.

He still wanted to enjoy the last glow of the setting sun.

As the final sliver of the sun gradually sank into the sea, the sky dimmed considerably, though it still remained bright overhead.

Having watched the sunset through its final moment, Li Mu Chuan felt thoroughly satisfied. The scenery here was still exactly as it had been before, unchanged in the slightest.

"If you're about done having fun, it's time to leave. Don't get trapped here once the tide comes in."

Li Mu Chuan was ready to leave, but he still reminded the three women beside him.

When the tide rose, the large rocks nearby would be submerged quite a bit. More importantly, seawater would cover both sides of the rocks.

The tide also came in especially fast. Before they knew it, they could easily end up stranded.

Rou Lan and the other girl did not really understand how quickly the tide could rise, but Ling Xuan knew very well.

If they got trapped here at night after it had gone dark, that would be troublesome.

"Let's go. We really should leave. Once the tide starts coming in, it rises very quickly."

As she spoke, Ling Xuan pulled the other two back the way they had come.

Li Mu Chuan stepped onto the rocks and pulled the three of them across one after another.

When the three women were pulled up by Li Mu Chuan, they almost felt as though they were about to take flight.

Li Mu Chuan had used a little too much strength. He probably had not thought much of it, only feeling that he should put in some force to pull them up.

"Your strength is way too great, isn't it?"

Ling Xuan landed on the other side again, her pretty face still showing lingering shock.

Rou Lan and the other girl nodded in unison. "No wonder they say girls shouldn't resist and provoke criminals when they run into them. Isn't resisting just courting death...?"

The strength Li Mu Chuan had displayed just now was far too terrifying. They all felt that if he threw a punch at them, they would be left lying there, unable to move.

If Li Mu Chuan had any improper intentions, they had originally thought that three women against one man should not be too dangerous.

But judging by the situation now, they had clearly been overthinking it.

"Oh, I work out often, so I'm a little stronger."

"How much does it cost to get a gym membership these days? Is it expensive?"

Ling Xuan wondered whether she should go work out at a gym too, to make the lines of her body look even better.

"The last time I went, I think I spent a little over two thousand."

Li Mu Chuan thought back. The last time he had gone to a gym, he had spent some money on a membership card, then never went again.

"Didn't you say you work out often? Why does it sound like you haven't gone since then?"

Rou Lan found that a little strange.

"Because I have a gym at home, so I stopped going."

Li Mu Chuan answered as he walked ahead.

A gym at home? Did he live in a villa or something?

The three women were all a little stunned, unable to understand what Li Mu Chuan meant. Was he showing off his wealth now?

Li Mu Chuan, however, had not thought that much about it. He had merely told the truth.

Rou Lan began to entertain some thoughts. If Li Mu Chuan really was that rich and that handsome, it would be perfect if she could make a move on him.

Seeing how he had been alone by the beach just now, he was probably single.

Single, rich, and into working out—he was practically a top-tier catch!

"Handsome, meeting in a place like this must be fate. How about we exchange contact information?"

"You wouldn't refuse to give me even your contact information, would you?"

Perhaps worried that Li Mu Chuan would refuse, Rou Lan added another sentence.

Li Mu Chuan heard that, thought for a moment, and held out his QR code.

Fei Fei tilted her head and thought for a moment after hearing that. "Why did I feel like, when he took out his phone to add us, he had this... condescending air? Like a goddess giving a loser the chance to add her as a friend."

There were not even any photos of him dining at upscale restaurants.

Following the information, she discovered that Li Mu Chuan's former company had merely been an ordinary company without much influence.

This left Rou Lan somewhat bewildered.
