A Word About What's Next

Readers who know me know that last year, I wrote two books and dropped both of them. This is my third book so far. I really don't want to drop it—I want to keep writing.

The martial soul in this book is based on Dreaming Journey to the West 3. Sha Wujing's Withered Leaf Bow has been renamed the Withered Wood Bow. The Azure Dragon Sword is a soul weapon, set in this book as being on the same level as the Angel Holy Sword, though like in the game, it isn't strong at the beginning.

In the game, it is improved through souls, but in this book, it only grows stronger as the Soul Power Level increases.

Some people will surely ask whether I can write about other magical treasures, like legendary ones. Based on my experience with the last book I dropped, once the values get too high and exceed the original's baseline, they are no longer within a controllable range.

Also, this book's results so far can't be considered good. There have been plenty of comments along the way. I've corrected things like typos, and I'm also revising those unreasonable plot points. That's roughly where things stand.

Everyone has their own tastes. I can't be sure what you all like to read, but I've already done my best.

To be honest, I currently have more than twenty chapters saved up, all fully written. Please help point out this book's problems and shortcomings so far. Give me a little guidance—if I can revise them, I will; if not, I'll see whether I can adjust the later plot.
