Sharpedo's Ability changed from Speed Boost to Strong Jaw, increasing the power of biting moves by fifty percent, while the Speed gained before Mega Evolution remained effective.
Charizard's Ability changed from Blaze to Tough Claws, increasing the damage of all Close Combat moves by thirty percent. It had also gained a true Dragon-type.
At the same time, both Pokemon's Mega Evolved forms became even more aggressive, as though they had evolved solely for battle!
When Sharpedo and Charizard locked eyes once again, they charged at each other as if of one mind.

Sharpedo turned into a sharp sword, the fangs on either side of its large bloody mouth slicing through the air and leaving curling trails of white vapor behind.
Charizard violently flapped its fleshy wings, its claws wrapped in Dragon-type energy and crossed before it, ready to slash down the instant they made contact.
Human eyes could no longer follow them. Only the Two Pokemon kept their eyes locked on each other, relying on their exceptional reflexes to judge the best place to strike.
In the blink of an eye, they met! Sharpedo tilted slightly, its teeth, originally aimed at Charizard, turning outward. Its true killing move was the seemingly unremarkable dorsal fin on its back.
But Charizard changed tactics as well. One Dragon Claw was raised while the other was lowered, clearly intending to launch a two-stage attack.
Thud... screech~ screech~ Dragon Claw collided with Sharpedo's fangs first. The imagined scene of flesh and blood flying everywhere never appeared. Instead, the ear-piercing scraping sounds made everyone cover their ears.
The next moment, Charizard's other Dragon Claw launched a Sucker Punch upward. Sharpedo immediately abandoned the deadlock
