In the second round of the Pseudo-Elite Four Tournament finals, Wallace was no longer the first to enter the field. This time, it was Flint and Caitlin.

The match rules remained unchanged, still following the "2+1+1" format. The moment Flint and Caitlin entered the field, they launched into a fierce offensive.

Confident in her own strength, Caitlin had not even used a single Psychic-type support move during the opening doubles battle.

After all, the greatest strength of Psychic-type and Ghost-type Pokemon lay in their mystery. Their bizarre array of moves could leave opponents utterly bewildered.

Yet even so, Caitlin and Flint ended up in mutual destruction during the doubles match, with all four Pokemon knocked out!

Sato saw it clearly. Caitlin's talent had always been exceptional. If Dark Type Pokemon had not countered Psychic Type so severely, she would never have advanced as second place in her group.

Then came the singles battle. Caitlin abandoned her earlier aggressive strategy and immediately had Sigilyph use Trick Room to suppress Rapidash, taking the first round.

But Flint was not to be outdone. He directly sent out the slow Steelix and, in turn, used Trick Room to one-hit KO the defensively average Sigilyph.

At last, Caitlin sent out her own ace, Gothitelle, and without hesitation gave it a Psychic boost.

Flint and Steelix also completed Mega Evolution, their strength surging just as dramatically.

It was only the first match of the second round of the finals, yet the battle had already been incredibly brutal, and the atmosphere in the venue was exceptionally heated.

No one had expected Caitlin's burst of power to be so terrifying, while Flint's Mega Evolution had likewise become the center of attention.
