After Pain Split, Gengar had recovered nearly most of the stamina it had spent on its Substitute, while Gorebyss had simultaneously lost a large amount of stamina.

After Gengar removed Supersonic's effects on Sato, he finally performed at his proper level. Relying on the bizarre, troublesome nature of Ghost-type moves, he quickly turned the situation around.

"Gorebyss, Coil!"

"Not daring to attack?" Sato knew very clearly that unless Wallace was confident Gorebyss could one-hit kill Gengar, Pain Split would be a huge threat.

"But I dare!" Sato muttered before commanding loudly, "Gengar, Thunderbolt!"

"Jiejie!"

Gengar pressed its hands together. When it spread them apart again, a golden yellow Electric Ball appeared between its palms, lightning flickering within it. Then, an extremely fierce Thunderbolt shot forth and struck toward Gorebyss in the blink of an eye.

The rain had passed and the sky had cleared, but the air was still humid. On top of that, an Aqua Ring lingered around Gorebyss's body, helping it recover stamina.

So when Thunderbolt reached Gorebyss, it was like a cat catching the scent of fish—it attacked precisely without a word! The lightning was incredibly fast and did not easily disrupt the flow of air, leaving Gorebyss's exquisite evasion ability useless. So... Thunderbolt hit.

"Whining!"

Gorebyss let out an extremely pained scream. Even with Amnesia boosting its Special Defense, Thunderbolt's damage to it was still not low.

After all, Gorebyss did not have much health left either.
