"How could there be a wooden house in a place like this?"
Sato stared at the small wooden house before him, unable to suppress his doubts.
By now, the two of them had ventured deep into the primeval forest in the northwestern part of Mt. Coronet. This was a forbidden zone for humans, and there had been no trace of human activity along the way.
Yet a wooden house had appeared so abruptly.
Sato secretly drew upon Dark Power and covered his eyes with it, but he still could not see anything amiss.
"Where is Hunter X?" Cynthia asked. After all, Sato's Gengar was in charge of tracking him this time.
"Not far past the wooden house. He has stopped for the time being. Looks like he thinks he successfully escaped."
Since they had not lost their target, Cynthia was no longer in a hurry. Hunter X, having lost four Pokemon, was like an Incineroar without fangs—not even as threatening as a sick Skitty.
Still, the wooden house had appeared far too suddenly for Sato to ignore it.
"Forget it. Let's deal with Hunter X first!"
"Mm!"
Cynthia nodded in agreement. Then the two of them went around the wooden house and continued their pursuit.
Before long, Sato and the others found the utterly dishevelled Hunter X again. This time, he had no aircraft to hide in.
The moment Gengar saw Sato and the others arrive, it used Psychic on Hunter X without a word. It was so fast that he had no time to react at all.
As he watched Sato walk toward him step by step, genuine despair appeared in Hunter X's eyes.
"Gengar, Hypnosis!"
"Jie~"
After removing all the Poké Balls from Hunter X and having Gengar completely hypnotize him, Sato and Cynthia finally breathed a sigh
