In the primeval forest northwest of Mt. Coronet in the Sinnoh Region, a somewhat conspicuous ice field would occasionally see a pitch-black Space Rift appear.
Yet before the Space Rift could change in any way, it would shrink back on its own and ultimately vanish without a trace.
Sato and the other two stood at the edge of the ice field, quietly watching this scene unfold before them.
There was nothing they could do. They could only watch.
"It's already been ten days. Although the frequency of the Space Rifts hasn't increased, it hasn't decreased by much either."
Shiping spoke slowly, clearly beginning to lose patience with Gengar.
But Sato shook his head. "My Gengar hasn't made any mistakes either. It has suppressed every rift on its own."
Shiping nodded. He had to admit that when it came to spatial suppression, Gengar was completely on par with him, a Champion-level Trainer.
But... the problem still hadn't been cured at its root!
Within the Dimensional Space, where there was no concept of time and no distinction between light and darkness, Gengar kept its golden eyes open, tirelessly observing its surroundings.
Suddenly, an eerie spatial fluctuation spread through the area. It was as if the Dimensional Space had been poked through, allowing light to shine directly inside.
A Space Rift appeared, forcibly connecting two worlds! The ready-to-go Gengar immediately floated near the Space Rift and readily used Space Lock.
The next moment, a mysterious Spatial Energy appeared on its own and began to "stitch up" the rift.
Soon, the Space Rift vanished, but quite a bit of that mysterious Spatial Energy remained behind.
Gengar's golden eyes flashed as it waved a hand and seized it! The mysterious Spatial Energy was wrapped in Gengar's Spatial Power. It struggled slightly at first, but was
