At Sato's command, Tyranitar stomped fiercely on the ground, sending fan-shaped ripples spreading toward the opposite side under its control.
Almost instantly, a large number of dark cracks appeared around Ice Ninetales, and a chilling wind continuously blew up from underground.
But before the chilling wind could disperse, Purple Flames of extremely high temperature surged wildly from beneath the earth and engulfed Ice Ninetales entirely! Stomping Tantrum precisely used Lock-On on the opponent, causing all the ground around it to collapse and creating a large number of cracks.
Inferno was said to be flames from hell—extremely hot, highly adhesive, and difficult to extinguish.
Originally, Inferno spread relatively slowly. But with Stomping Tantrum clearing the way, it had almost instantly burned its way to Ice Ninetales.
The ground shook and the mountains swayed as flames erupted! For a moment, Ice Ninetales had no way to break free.
"Ninetales, Blizzard! Pidgeot, Hurricane boost!"
Miyamoto gave the order at Ice Ninetales's most dangerous moment.
Pidgeot's Hurricane arrived first, Fell From The Sky in the form of a tornado. It avoided Ice Ninetales while suppressing the flames erupting from underground.
Taking advantage of the brief respite, Ice Ninetales unleashed an ice blue Blizzard of extremely low temperature. Enhanced by the Hurricane, it almost instantly froze everything within a hundred meters.
"Vulp!!!"
Ice Ninetales let out a high cry, venting its indignation within the Ice and Snow World it had created.
Not far away, two "ice sculptures," one tall and one short, stood motionless, seemingly completely frozen by the Blizzard.
Those ice sculptures were none other than Sato's Houndoom and Tyranitar!
Ice Ninetales's ice was clearly extraordinary. Its dazzling ice blue color faintly radiated another trait beyond Extreme Cold.
