  • Sato sensed Zoroark’s emotional feedback and confirmed that its Champion-level talent had increased slightly.

Ch. 872Why Are You Closing Your Eyes?

Sato discovered that Dark Power let him help his Pokemon absorb Origin Energy and improve their talents, then began moving through Origin Forest to find areas with greater concentrations. After Tyranitar defeated Ampharos, Sato prepared to infuse Gardevoir with Origin Energy, while Gardevoir closed his eyes and waited.

  • Sato released his seven Pokemon and urged them to sense and absorb the Origin Energy around them; Gardevoir, Gengar, Honchkrow, Sharpedo, Hydreigon, and Tyranitar eventually managed to do so.
  • Sato noticed that the Origin Energy was recovering from elsewhere and challenged a nearby Pseudo-Elite Four High-Level Ampharos to a one-on-one battle.
  • Tyranitar rushed ahead, defeated Ampharos with Stone Edge, and returned to Sato for praise.
  • Sato found that Origin Energy density varied by location and decided to keep moving through Origin Forest with his Pokemon.
  • Sato called Gardevoir over and told him to relax and absorb Origin Energy, but Gardevoir closed his eyes and blushed.

Ch. 873Specializing in Finishing Blows

  • Sato chose a herd of Girafarig as a tougher target and had Gengar use Mean Look to prevent them from fleeing.
  • Sato ordered his Pokémon to attack the Girafarig herd, assigning targets and coordinating their assaults while Tyranitar focused on finishing blows.

Ch. 874Finally Became the Little Brother

Sato led his partners deeper into Origin Forest to help Gardevoir break through, where they encountered an Elite Four Beginner Typhlosion. Gardevoir and Typhlosion traded attacks until Gardevoir used Trick Room, turning the speed advantage against Typhlosion.

  • Sato decided to take his partners deeper into Origin Forest despite Gardevoir's objections, hoping stronger opponents would help it break through.
  • Gardevoir detected an approaching Elite Four-level Pokemon, and Sato prepared to support it in battle.
  • Typhlosion rushed in, and Gardevoir used Attract before attacking it with Psychic.
  • Typhlosion broke free with Throat Chop and countered Gardevoir's Teleport and Shadow Sneak with Swift, Flame Charge, and Blast Burn.
  • Sato ordered Gardevoir to use Trick Room, making Typhlosion slower than Gardevoir.

Ch. 875Beasts Feel Wronged, but They Won't Say It!

Sato defeated Typhlosion with Gardevoir under Trick Room, then searched its underground lair for treasure. The search uncovered an Earth Rock Heart for Houndoom, while Typhlosion was left ignored and aggrieved.

  • Gardevoir defeated Typhlosion under Trick Room, and the defeated Pokémon fled after pleading for mercy.
  • Sato sent Honchkrow after Typhlosion, then followed Gengar and Gardevoir through the caves toward its lair.
  • Gardevoir buried an Aron, and Gengar accidentally uncovered it again while demonstrating that the rock layer below was half a meter thick.
  • Sato sent out Tyranitar, which used Sand Tomb to break through the ground and collapse into Typhlosion's lair.
  • Tyranitar found an Earth Rock Heart, which Sato recognized as a valuable Fire-type treasure for Houndoom.
  • Sato ignored the tearful Typhlosion and urged Tyranitar to keep searching for more treasures.

Ch. 876Snow Warning Ice Ninetales

Sato and his Pokémon entered a frozen area ruled by an Elite Four-level Ice Ninetales, where Zoroark fought it after Sato amplified Zoroark’s power with Dark Power. Zoroark unleashed a powerful Dark Burst that swallowed Ice Ninetales, leaving the battle’s outcome uncertain.

  • Sato left Typhlosion’s territory with the Earth Rock Heart and continued into a snowy region, where Gardevoir said its bottleneck had loosened.
  • Sato sent out Zoroark and Sharpedo in the freezing weather, and Sharpedo spotted Ice Ninetales circling them.
  • Sato ordered Zoroark to use Dark Burst and Sharpedo to use Rock Tomb, but Zoroark’s attack melted the ice covering Ice Ninetales’s territory and angered it.
  • Zoroark fought Ice Ninetales at close range and wounded it, but Ice Ninetales unleashed Blizzard and blasted Zoroark away.
  • Sato used Dark Power Amplification to raise Zoroark to Intermediate Elite Four level, and Zoroark’s Dark Burst swallowed Ice Ninetales.

Ch. 877Former Peak

Sato and Zoroark defeated Ice Ninetales by exploiting Illusions and the Water Mirage Orb rather than fighting head-on. Afterward, Zoroark advanced to Pseudo-Elite Four Peak, the point where he had stopped in Sato’s previous life.

  • Zoroark provoked Ice Ninetales, then used Illusions and Sucker Punch to ambush him after the Blizzard buried a decoy in the snow.
  • Zoroark launched an explosive Dark Burst Ball while the real Zoroark escaped with U-turn, leaving Ice Ninetales injured and concealed in the snow.
  • Sato located Ice Ninetales with Dark Power - Energy Detection and ordered a Flamethrower to flush him out.
  • Zoroark used Dark Burst again and defeated Ice Ninetales without engaging in a head-on fight.
  • Sato withdrew his Dark Power enhancement, and Zoroark broke through to Pseudo-Elite Four Peak.

Ch. 878A Truly Enormous Bellossom

Sato left Ice Ninetales behind with its Top-grade Ice Stone and traveled deeper into Origin Forest with Gardevoir, where they met the enormous Totem Bellossom. Bellossom challenged Gardevoir to a battle, and Gardevoir used Encore to make her repeat Sunny Day.

  • Sato took Ice Ninetales's Top-grade Ice Stone and left without inviting it to join him.
  • Sato and Gardevoir continued deeper into Origin Forest, attracting the attention of the forest's lord, a two-meter-tall Bellossom.
  • Bellossom invited Sato to challenge her, and he accepted before following her to a grassy battlefield.
  • Gardevoir began the battle with Teleport and Calm Mind while Bellossom used Sunny Day to activate Chlorophyll.
  • Gardevoir used Future Sight, then Encore forced Bellossom to repeat Sunny Day as she waited for Gardevoir's praise.

Ch. 879Climbed the Wall!

Gardevoir decisively defeated Bellossom, which gave it a dead leaf that would keep wild Pokémon in the forest from attacking, and Gardevoir told Sato its bottleneck had loosened further. Later, Sato and Tyranitar camped in the desert, where a large swarm of Anorith surrounded them.

  • Gardevoir knocked Bellossom down with repeated Psychic attacks and finished it with Future Sight.
  • Bellossom accepted its defeat, gave Gardevoir a dead leaf for safe passage through the forest, and returned to the forest with its little brothers.
  • Gardevoir told Sato that its bottleneck had loosened, and Sato set out with his Pokémon to find another opponent.
  • Sato and Tyranitar crossed the desert without encountering a challenging opponent, then made camp beside several boulders at nightfall.
  • Anorith emerged from the sand and stones and surrounded Sato and Tyranitar, leaving Sato puzzled about why the water-dwelling Pokémon were in the desert.

Ch. 880Underground World

Sato and his Pokémon fought off waves of Anorith and an Armaldo while being dragged into a gigantic hourglass that blocked their escape attempts. After learning from a hypnotized Anorith that a vast space and independent ecosystem lay beneath the desert, Sato decided they might as well descend and explore.

  • Tyranitar battled the Anorith and then fought an Armaldo with its upgraded Stone Edge.
  • Sato realized the sand around them was sinking and that they stood inside a gigantic hourglass.
  • Gengar revealed that an Anti-Air Domain prevented flight, while Gardevoir's Teleport and the group's other escape attempts also failed.
  • Gardevoir used the Nightmare Orb to hypnotize an Anorith and learned that a vast ecosystem lay beneath the desert, ruled by powerful Pokémon.
  • Sato decided to descend into the space below and explore.

Ch. 881Do You Hear What You're Saying?

Sato and his Pokémon descended into the desert’s lower level, where Tyranitar found a passage leading to a Baltoy and its powerful protector. The chapter ended with an Elite Four-level Claydol teleporting away from Tyranitar’s Crunch alongside the crying Baltoy.

  • Sato used Tyranitar and Gengar to descend through the sand into the cave below the desert.
  • Tyranitar found a wall of Smooth Rock, then led Sato down a passage.
  • Tyranitar drew out a Baltoy and knocked it down with a weakened Stone Edge, causing it to cry.
  • A Claydol appeared and fired Hyper Beam at Sato, but Gengar blocked the attack with Protect.
  • Sato ordered Tyranitar to use Crunch, but the Elite Four-level Claydol teleported away with Baltoy.

Ch. 882The Underground Army Bands Together

Sato and Tyranitar fought Claydol in the desert cave, but the battle drew three more Elite Four Pokémon that worked together to protect and heal one another. Sato’s team focused on Cradily, whose Curse and Recover kept it standing as the fight continued.

  • Tyranitar countered Claydol’s Earth Power, endured its Ice Beam attacks, and used Parting Shot to stun it before landing Crunch.
  • The cave shook, and Rhyperior, Cradily, and Armaldo appeared beside Claydol, prompting Sato to send out Hydreigon, Sharpedo, and Zoroark.
  • Sato ordered his Pokémon to attack Claydol and Armaldo, but Rhyperior blocked Tyranitar while Armaldo used Protect to shield its allies.
  • Cradily used Pain Split to heal Claydol, then recovered its own lost stamina, prompting Sato to direct Zoroark and Sharpedo to attack it.
  • Cradily endured Focus Blast and Ice Fang by using Curse, then followed with Recover.
