Near the Sacred Mountain, construction on the tower was only halfway complete. In the city-state they were preparing to build, a temple for themselves and a city-state for their own god, everyone wore expressions of terror.
First the earth shook and the mountains swayed, then the sky darkened.
Everyone was stunned by the apocalyptic scene and ran wildly through the city in panic.
Then lava and fiery rain fell from the sky, one terrifying scene after another unfolding.
"Is this punishment from the gods?"
The burly middle-aged man who had first preached from the high platform was filled with terror.
"So gods really exist?!" he muttered absentmindedly.
At first, he had only dared to be so reckless because he believed gods did not exist, that they were merely ignorant fantasies invented by others. But now...
"Perhaps the legends are true. Gods created all things, humans, and everything else..."
In the end, he questioned himself inwardly. How bold had he been to dare desecrate the gods?
The others in the city were much the same, their faces filled with panic and regret.
But before they could recover, a vast halo appeared in the sky, shocking them even more.
"Look! What is that?"
"A... a Divine Miracle?"
"The Divine Miracle from the legends?"
"How could this happen? Why would it appear now?"
Suddenly, tens of thousands of terrified cries rang out.
"Water, so much water!"
"Hahaha, divine punishment!" Someone was driven mad by the sight and laughed miserably. "We deserve this!"
"I don't want to die! No!"
Others wept bitterly, regretting what they had done in the past.
Yet no matter what they did at that moment, it was already too late, because the towering flood was about to engulf them!

Houses collapsed, trees snapped, and everything was swallowed beneath the floodwaters!

"Are those people cockroaches? They're still alive?"
He discovered that aside from a small portion, most of them had actually withstood the terrifying flood!
Not to mention the giants—of Natalie's group of ten, six had survived!

In his urgency, he casually grabbed a bottle of floral water with some remaining inside, filled it with water, and sprayed the sphere wildly.

However, just as they thought the matter was over, a strange sight appeared in the sky.
A crackling torrential rain poured continuously from the halo.
Looking at the rainwater appearing out of nowhere, everyone was shocked.
The howling wind swept across heaven and earth, carrying endless torrential rain with it.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh—
The pouring rain howled as it ravaged the world.
"Creating rain out of thin air?" Jonas looked dazed.
"What terrifying rain!" Tyler's face was filled with fear.
Seeing the endless rain that seemed to blanket the entire world, all the surviving giants, aliens, and humans were once again stunned.
Was this the divine power of a god?
Whether it was a world-destroying flood or a world-destroying rainstorm, it could be created with ease...
What kind of existence was a god...?
Once again, a line of words surfaced in Natalie's mind.
"Omnipotent, knows everything? Created all things?"
After murmuring to herself and falling into a brief daze, she gritted her teeth. "Impossible. I don't believe it!"
The divine punishment terrified her, and she could only keep denying it in her heart.
"There are no gods! This is just the work of a more advanced civilization!"
She muttered to herself. The more she spoke, the firmer her expression became, as though she had already convinced herself.
Only by doing so could she emerge from the shadow of the gods without collapsing.
Just as she became increasingly resolute, the violent downpour began falling before long!
They were once again plunged into hardship, but fortunately, compared to the terrifying flood, the rain was merely troublesome and not deadly.
While they counted themselves lucky over there, Su Qi, who was continuously pressing the spray nozzle, noticed this as well.
He frowned.
