Hu Liena was born an orphan and later became Bibi Dong’s disciple. Their shared orphan background makes her more sympathetic toward Lin Feng when they first meet 3. She remembers a beef skewer as the first gift she received when her teacher took her in 7.

After awakening her Martial Soul, she trained early every day despite being physically weak. She sometimes fainted during training and credits Xie Yue’s timely trips to the clinic with saving her life 7.
