Lamp Post King... Mongrel King Appears!
When Yoru Machi rushed out of the haunted house, he used Aura Sense to detect several powerful sources of magical energy already clashing within the amusement park.
And the most eye-catching... or rather, the most flamboyant one was naturally the greatest of kings, Gilgamesh.
The Lamp Post King had now changed careers and become the Ferris Wheel King. Standing atop the tallest Ferris wheel, golden ripples spread behind him like waves across water, and all manner of weapons soon shot out from them.
The weapons he hurled were genuine Noble Phantasms, and that was precisely why Rin Tohsaka jokingly called Gilgamesh the Golden Flash.
'Gate of Babylon' was Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasm, but it did not refer to a single Noble Phantasm. It was an enormous treasury of Noble Phantasms.
The Noble Phantasms stored within were mostly lost treasures from every era. Rather than saying they were treasures Gilgamesh had hoarded, it would be more accurate to call them the very prototypes of human wisdom.
After being fired, the Noble Phantasms quickly returned to Gilgamesh's treasury, as though there were other Noble Phantasms within it responsible for retrieval.
'Gate of Babylon' ranked from E to A++, because it contained Noble Phantasms ranging from E-rank to A++-rank.
Of course, even for someone as absurdly wealthy as Gilgamesh, the majority of the Noble Phantasms in his Gate of Babylon were low-rank. As for A-rank and above, there were only a handful.
In truth, the first people to encounter each other in the amusement park were not Gilgamesh and Lancelot, but Lancelot and Artoria Pendragon.
Because of Tokiomi Tohsaka's repulsion barrier, the amusement park suddenly became empty, making Irisviel and Saber exceptionally conspicuous.
Lancelot was the first to spot Saber, and when he saw that his king had
