"Charles, can you sense what they want?"

Mystique Raven possessed the ability to change in countless ways. She could imitate anyone's appearance at will, even their irises and fingerprints.

This imitation was not limited by age or gender. After activating her ability, her originally slender body could even transform into a muscular man over two meters tall.

"Castor, let him in. You can't stop him."

"Let him in."

After seeing the firm, serious look in Charles's eyes, the old butler Castor Bilich could only lead the others aside and open a path.

Though they no longer stopped him, they still watched Gu Qing with wary eyes.

If he made any suspicious move, they would act without hesitation!

Gu Qing had no interest in these ordinary people. He walked straight up to Charles.

Charles was only nineteen at the time, a full head shorter than Gu Qing.

Though the two were not far apart in age, Charles seemed more like a child standing before him.

Grinning, Gu Qing said, "Hello. I'm Erik Lehnsherr. Nice to meet you."

Charles hesitated for a moment before taking the large hand.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Charles Xavier."

Inside the reception room of Xavier's old mansion.

Gu Qing sat on a soft sofa.

Charles said in astonishment, "So you're a Mutant too? God, that's incredible. You know, I've already decided to pursue genetic research. I think I'll definitely be able to uncover the secrets of Mutants... Oh, right, how did you know about me?"
