A Separate Chapter to Say a Few Things

At first, I started this book on Qidian. Personally, I also preferred Qidian's style, especially the APP interface—it just looked more pleasing to the eye.

However, I ended up signing with Genesis. I had only just started the book back then and didn't really understand how contracts worked.

I had around 500 favorites on Qidian, but after moving to Genesis, all my Qidian favorites were reset to zero. Everything had to start over, and the book was also taken down from Qidian. I was completely dumbfounded at the time. You may not know what that meant for a new author—all my efforts had gone down the drain.

The blow hit me pretty hard. I sat there stunned for nearly half an hour. A few longtime readers in the group were also asking why the book had suddenly disappeared.

I was scared out of my mind then, afraid that the longtime readers I had painstakingly gathered in the small QQ group would drift away just like that.

However, they gave me a surprise. Not a single one of them left, hehe.

Then the readers on Genesis gave me quite a pleasant surprise too. The book's stats have been steadily rising every day. So first of all, I want to thank every reader who has supported me.

As for why I made this separate chapter... emmm, I just wanted to tell some people something. No, perhaps they can't even be called readers.

Being an author, especially a new author, is really not easy. If you don't like my book, spit on it with a bad review—I can accept that. But if you take a dump on it with personal attacks, that's something I can't accept. You wouldn't be happy if I muted you either, right? Why can't everyone get along peacefully? Don't you read books to kill time and brighten your mood?

I'm not some great god-tier author either. There's no way my book can suit everyone's tastes.

If you think it's bad, just leave. Really. Or curse in real life, "This author is such an idiot. What the hell is this crap?" That way, you get to vent and feel better, I don't hear it, and everyone's happy.

Since I started this book, I've only deleted one personal attack comment from Genesis and permanently muted that person. I haven't touched any other bad reviews. I read every comment, and I reply to the worthwhile and interesting ones too.

I'm someone who loves chatting in groups and flooding the comments. Readers who like my book are welcome to join the group, offer suggestions, chat together, and happily be chat spammers together.
