Ch. 343Steel Eevee (Part 2)

Eevee evolved into Steel Eevee after enduring a meteor-like fall through space and bonding with a starlit meteor. After waking and discovering its new abilities, Steel Eevee startled Jirachi by dissolving into starlight, and Jirachi learned to do the same.

  • Eevee experienced a vision of falling through space as a rock beside Jirachi and learned to refine its steel core to survive the descent.
  • Eevee woke in an unfamiliar forest and sensed a silver meteor falling toward it, then reached out and connected with it.
  • Eevee evolved into Steel Eevee, whose body was covered in metallic silver fur and whose tail grew hot as Mark and Jirachi examined it.
  • Steel Eevee dissolved into starlight and reappeared behind Mark when Jirachi approached.
  • Jirachi tested the new starlight ability, learned to become and move as starlight, and Mark considered adding Elementalization and Spirit Form to his training.

Ch. 344Training

Mark tried to gain Jirachi's Steel-type power but found that it conflicted with the Grass-type power already in his body, so he abandoned the attempt. He helped Leafeon begin learning Grass-type Elementalization and concluded that he would need years to master it himself, while the Stat Point Dream World remained unavailable and Dr. Philin had not answered his email.

  • Mark asked Jirachi to give him Steel-type power, but the injected power clashed with his Grass-type power and leaked out of his body.
  • Mark decided not to give up his Grass-type power and instead planned to learn Elementalization by studying Steel Eevee's technique.
  • Mark guided Leafeon in trying to turn its Grass-type power into growth energy, and Leafeon nearly transformed its leaf into green motes of light.
  • Mark estimated Leafeon could master the technique in about half a month, while he might need years to learn it himself.
  • Mark checked his email about Dr. Philin's Porygon and found that Dr. Philin still had not replied.

Ch. 345Eevee's Path—Arceeus Eevee!

Mark examined Leafeon's forms and discovered that Eevee could potentially evolve into forms for all eighteen types, though Mew could not grant it a new form after already using its power. Mew eluded the Pokémon's attempts to catch it, and Mark calmed the furious Jirachi as he revealed that Dr. Philin had replied to his email.

  • Mark examined Leafeon's Eevee, Leafeon, and Steel Eevee forms and found that Leafeon and Steel Eevee had base stat totals of 600.
  • Mark explained that Leafeon's gene chart indicated it could still evolve into sixteen more forms, and he suggested it might become an eighteen-type “Arceeus Eevee” with a Normal-type form.
  • Jirachi asked Mew to help Leafeon evolve, but Mew's power dissipated because it had already helped Eevee change forms.
  • Victini and Jirachi tried to catch Mew, but Mew escaped with Teleport and later tricked Jirachi with a decoy.
  • Jirachi caught a Mew that shattered like a bubble, and Mark called out to it while showing that Dr. Philin had replied to his email.

Ch. 346Father of Mewtwo, Dr. Philin (Part 1)

Mark visited Dr. Philin’s research institute, where he defeated Dr. Philin’s arrogant grandson Mayo before seeing the institute’s Porygon cultivation center. The chapter ended as a blue sphere inside the Porygon enclosure was knocked toward Caterpie and Victini.

  • Mark arrived at the Beyond Mr. Mime Research Institute and met Dr. Philin, his assistant A Tiao, and his grandson Mayo.
  • Dr. Philin explained the institute’s name and introduced the friendly Mr. Mime that lived nearby.
  • Mayo challenged Mark, accusing him of being an overrated Trainer, and Mark’s Pokemon defeated him in three minutes.
  • Dr. Philin took Mark to the Porygon cultivation center, where several Porygon played with a blue sphere inside a giant glass container.
  • A Porygon knocked the blue sphere toward Caterpie and Victini as they watched from beside the container.

Ch. 347Father of Mewtwo, Dr. Philin (Part 1)

Mark discovered that Dr. Philin’s Porygon could cross from the virtual world into reality, then visited the mainframe where the real Porygon lived. After Mark agreed to help with a confidential project, Dr. Philin led him to the underground base where Mewtwo had been cultivated.

  • Porygon brought the Blue Orb out of the display before it vanished, and Dr. Philin demonstrated the same effect with a Porygon.
  • Mark identified the glass container as a 3D display and explained that its Porygon were projections able to temporarily enter reality.
  • Dr. Philin showed Mark the mainframe housing forty-seven Porygon and let him browse their information while deciding which one to choose.
  • Mark promised to keep Dr. Philin’s confidential project secret, and Dr. Philin’s AI analysis showed a 99.97% probability that Mark would honor the promise.
  • Dr. Philin checked on Mayo, returned to Mark, and led him toward the underground Experiment Base where Mewtwo had been cultivated.

Ch. 348Mewtwo's Naming Rights

Mark visited Dr. Philin’s secret research facility, where he learned about cloned Pokemon and met the AI recreation of Philin’s daughter, Xiao Ai. Philin revealed an unfinished artificial Pokemon made from Mew and human genes, and asked Mark to suggest a name, though Mark preferred Mewtwo.

  • Mark saw cloned Pokemon growing in Cultivation Containers and learned they had been created from embryos using genetic technology.
  • Caterpie used Telekinesis to reach out to another Caterpie in a container, and Dr. Philin cautioned Mark that the clones were not ready to be born.
  • Mark followed Dr. Philin into a heavily secured underground base and met Xiao Ai, an AI recreation of Philin’s deceased daughter.
  • Dr. Philin showed Mark a developing humanoid Pokemon created from Mew genes and human genes, which he had provisionally named Mewtwo.
  • Dr. Philin invited Mark to choose a better name, but Mark said Mewtwo was already a good one.

Ch. 349Beyond Reality and Illusion

Mark encountered Dr. Philin’s Mewtwo research and learned how he planned to use Mewtwo’s power to advance Porygon’s Hyperrealistic AR Interaction. Mew appeared at the institute, agreed to provide genetic samples only if Dr. Philin could catch it, and secretly examined the Mewtwo in its Cultivation Container.

  • Mark recalled how Mewtwo’s creation and the AI Xiao Ai resembled the story of the Mewtwo animated movie.
  • Dr. Philin revealed that he had first approached Mark hoping to obtain Mew genetic samples, and Mark said he had clues about Mew.
  • Mew appeared behind Mark, and Xiao Ai translated its offer to give Dr. Philin samples if he could catch it.
  • Mew evaded Victini and Caterpie before Jirachi’s sneak attack made it vanish, while Mark explained Mew’s connection to the Aura Hero Lucario at Fallen Sky Mountain.
  • Mew secretly inspected the Mewtwo in the Cultivation Container as Mark asked Dr. Philin about his plans for Mewtwo.
  • Dr. Philin said he had abandoned using Mewtwo to revive his daughter and instead planned to use its power for a technological revolution and Hyperrealistic AR Interaction.

Ch. 350Mewtwo's Tragedy

Mark examined Mewtwo’s cultivation records with Dr. Philin and learned how the researcher used Xiao Ai to soothe Mewtwo’s violent reactions. As Mewtwo’s awakening approached, Mark worried that the Restraint Devices would fail, recalling the tragedy that awaited the Pokémon and the Mysterious Doctor.

  • Jirachi suggested calling Mewtwo “Super Phantom,” but Mark decided to keep the name Mewtwo.
  • Dr. Philin explained that Porygon’s intelligent AI had assessed Mark before allowing him into the research institute and showed him the researchers and Mewtwo’s cultivation records.
  • Mark and Dr. Philin spent several hours discussing Mewtwo’s development while the Pokémon and Xiao Ai played Pokémon Battle.
  • Dr. Philin said Xiao Ai communicated with Mewtwo to calm its violent reactions and demonstrated two Restraint Devices intended to control it after awakening.
  • Mark recalled Mewtwo breaking free, destroying the research institute, and killing the Mysterious Doctor after questioning why it had been born.

Ch. 351Dr. Philin, You Should Cultivate!

Mark persuaded Dr. Philin to cultivate Forest Power and relocate Mewtwo to a safer site because Philin was too weak and might die if Mewtwo went berserk. The chapter left Philin in a cave on Fallen Sky Mountain with Mewtwo’s Cultivation Container nearby.

  • Mark warned Dr. Philin that he needed to become stronger before caring for Mewtwo, but Philin initially refused, saying he was too old to become a Trainer.
  • Jirachi, Mew, and the other Pokémon backed Mark’s warning, and Jirachi offered Philin a Small Wish after confirming he was trustworthy.
  • Mark explained that Philin might have only ten years left to live and recommended cultivating Forest Power instead of taking a Life Fruit directly.
  • Jirachi suggested a cave east of Fallen Sky Mountain as a safer place for Mewtwo, and Mark agreed to move it there.
  • Three hours later, Dr. Philin found himself in the cave beside Mewtwo’s Cultivation Container, which Mark said could hold Mewtwo temporarily even without power.

Ch. 352Jirachi's Obsession

Dr. Philin was left alone in the cave with Mewtwo’s cultivation equipment, where Mew and Leafeon brought him snacks and Jirachi’s bizarre plans for genetic cultivation came to light. As Dr. Philin approached Mewtwo’s container, a surge of Telekinesis struck, and Mark reappeared to catch him.

  • Mark and Jirachi brought Dr. Philin Mewtwo’s cultivation equipment and told him to explore the forest while they arranged an energy supply.
  • Leafeon brought Dr. Philin donuts and cola, then left him alone when he declined a walk.
  • Mew stole the snacks and cola, then gave Dr. Philin the chewed donut crumbs, which he recognized as a valuable genetic sample.
  • Dr. Philin recalled that Jirachi had given him three Wish Tags and a broken-off finger to develop Super Jirachi and described its elaborate transformation plans.
  • A violent wave of Telekinesis burst from Mewtwo’s Cultivation Container, and Mark appeared to catch Dr. Philin.

Ch. 353Third Uncle, You Should Train Too

Mark brought Dr. Philin to inspect the sleeping Mewtwo, then took him to Clear Stream Forest and urged him to train in Nature Dance and Forest Power. They reached Third Uncle Qian’s defensive line, where Qian pretended not to see Mark and fell asleep.

  • Mark showed Dr. Philin the Porygon he had chosen, then explained that Mewtwo’s Telekinesis outburst came from adjusting to its new surroundings and did not signal ill intent.
  • Mark warned Dr. Philin not to let Xiao Ai interact with Mewtwo for too long, and told him he should train and get a Pokemon for protection.
  • Mark and Jirachi found that Mewtwo had entered a deep sleep, and Mark used Clear Stream Power to strengthen Dr. Philin before taking him through Clear Stream Forest.
  • Mark brought Dr. Philin to Third Uncle Qian’s defensive line, where thousands of Bulbasaur were reinforcing the defenses.
  • Mark asked Qian to practice Nature Dance again, but Qian ignored him and soon fell asleep.

Ch. 354Porygon Brainwave AR Glasses

Mark and Dr. Philin used a Brainwave Control Device to investigate Porygon and discovered that it could connect to Porygon’s brainwaves and control the Rotom Phone. After days of grueling dance and combat training, Dr. Philin headed to see Mewtwo and put on the newly developed Porygon Brainwave AR Glasses for their first test.

  • Mark made Old Man Qian and Dr. Philin practice the Nature Dance and endure overnight Combat Training.
  • Mark and Dr. Philin tested a Brainwave Control Device on Porygon and found it could connect to Porygon’s brainwaves and control the Rotom Phone.
  • Mark and Dr. Philin developed bulky Porygon Brainwave AR Glasses based on their research.
  • After several days of training, Dr. Philin followed Leafeon through the forest to observe Mewtwo’s examination.
  • Dr. Philin put on the untested Porygon Brainwave AR Glasses.

Ch. 355Mewtwo Is About to Be Born

Mark considered using Porygon to improve his battles and training, then thought of using it as a framework to expand his Magnet Mechanical Arm. After the pre-match interview, Jirachi privately told Mark that Mewtwo seemed close to being born.

  • Dr. Philin tested AR glasses linked to Porygon and noted problems with delayed, unreliable brainwave controls.
  • Mark considered Porygon as an intelligent brain but worried about its low intelligence, reliance on network computing, and whether it could awaken his Spirit Control Panel.
  • Mark told an interviewer that Zhao Pan was a formidable opponent and said he would probably use Qiaonong's Vikavolt Multi-Magnemite in the Vanguard Battle.
  • Mark demonstrated his Magnet Mechanical Arm by disassembling and reassembling an antique Pokemon Index, then wondered whether Porygon could let the arm support more subunits.
  • Jirachi privately told Mark that Mewtwo seemed about to be born, leaving Mark puzzled because he expected it to take much longer.

Ch. 356Mewtwo's Birth (Part 1)

Mark learned that Jirachi had accelerated Mewtwo’s growth with repeated Small Wishes so it could free the best Cultivation Container for a Pokemon made from Jirachi’s genes and Mark’s hair. Dr. Philin visited Mewtwo’s cave and was astonished to find the facility transformed and Mewtwo grown to the size of a young adult.

  • Mark confronted Jirachi, who admitted accelerating Mewtwo’s birth to create a new form for Leafeon and to free its Cultivation Container for a Pokemon made from Jirachi’s genes and Mark’s hair.
  • Jirachi revealed that it had used Small Wishes about twelve times a day and fed Mewtwo Life Fruit from Leafeon to support its rapid growth.
  • Leafeon led Dr. Philin to Mewtwo’s cave, where thousands of Magnet Pokemon had transformed the depths with metal flooring and steel-covered walls.
  • Dr. Philin saw that Mewtwo had grown from looking like a child to looking like a young adult, while Leafeon had not noticed the change.

Ch. 357Mewtwo's Birth (Part 2)

Dr. Philin discovered Mewtwo’s explosive growth and watched it awaken in the Cultivation Container. Confused and furious about its origins, Mewtwo broke free, attacked Dr. Philin, and left him fleeing with Leafeon.

  • Leafeon showed Dr. Philin photos revealing how drastically Mewtwo had changed over six days, and he found repeated bursts of explosive growth in the cultivation logs.
  • Mewtwo awakened, remembered that Dr. Philin had created it, and questioned who its parents were and why it had been born.
  • Mewtwo shattered the Cultivation Container and attacked Dr. Philin, who dodged and summoned Venusaur.
  • Mewtwo used Telekinesis to batter Venusaur unconscious and embed it in the cave wall.
  • Dr. Philin fled down the cave passage with Leafeon while Mewtwo looked for him.

Ch. 358Leafeon VS Mewtwo

Mewtwo escaped its cave and attacked Dr. Philin, demanding to know why humans had created it. Leafeon intervened to protect Dr. Philin and launched a counterattack, leaving the clash unresolved.

  • Dr. Philin realized Mewtwo’s awakening was real as an explosion erupted inside the cave, and Leafeon shielded him from the shockwave.
  • Mewtwo uncovered injured Magneton and demanded to know why they had helped humans create it, but Magneton’s electrical sounds gave it no answer.
  • Mewtwo emerged from the cave and lifted Dr. Philin with Telekinesis, but Leafeon cut the Psychic Arm and Dr. Philin fled into nearby bushes.
  • Mewtwo swung at Leafeon, but its attack hit only an illusion and scattered leaves.
  • Leafeon appeared above Mewtwo and brought down thick, barbed vines with Vine Whip (Life Infusion).

Ch. 359Mark Arrives!

Mewtwo overwhelmed Leafeon, Steel Eevee, and Dr. Philin, but Mark arrived and launched a coordinated counterattack with Caterpie and Jirachi. The chapter left Mark facing Mewtwo in the air as the injured Pokémon rose from a crater, eager to continue fighting.

  • Mewtwo exposed Leafeon's feint, tracked down his true body, and blasted him while searching for Dr. Philin.
  • Mewtwo struck Dr. Philin and crushed Steel Eevee's phone, which held photos of Jirachi.
  • Mark broke through Mewtwo's Psychic Barrier, grabbed his tail, slammed him into the ground, and kicked him away.
  • Caterpie joined Mark in Bond Evolution and attacked Mewtwo with Hundred Styles Infinite Aura Quick Strike, followed by Jirachi's Flash Cannon Machine Gun.
  • Mark checked Steel Eevee and Dr. Philin, then flew toward Mewtwo, who rose from a crater ready to keep fighting.

Ch. 360Fierce Battle!

Jirachi, Mark, and Caterpie combined their attacks to overwhelm Mewtwo, who adapted rapidly and learned Aura, Obvious Strength, and Hidden Strength during the battle. Mark’s final strike brought Mewtwo down, and he could not get back up.

  • Jirachi fused with Spectrier, ambushed Mewtwo with a rapid combo, and unleashed the powerful Star Shards - Meteor.
  • Mewtwo evaded the meteor with Teleport, but Caterpie located him and Mark, Jirachi, and Caterpie began a coordinated assault.
  • The trio suppressed Mewtwo as he learned to use Aura, Obvious Strength, and Hidden Strength while fighting back and injuring them.
  • Mark struck Mewtwo behind the neck, knocking him down, and Mewtwo failed to rise.

Ch. 361Mewtwo, I Choose You!

After Mewtwo’s battle with Mark, Mark returned to Dr. Philin and learned that Philin wanted him to raise Mewtwo while bringing him in for regular checkups. Mark eventually captured Mewtwo with a Pokeball and left the chapter holding it, ready to take him on as his Pokémon.

  • Mark asked Ivysaur to restore the battlefield and told him to train with Bulbasaur Sage after the Academy Cup.
  • Jirachi teased Leafeon about its broken phone, then recovered its photos through the cloud album.
  • Mark apologized to Dr. Philin for Mewtwo’s early birth, and Philin asked Mark to catch and raise Mewtwo while bringing him back for checkups.
  • Mewtwo repeatedly broke out of Mark’s Pokeballs, so Mark knocked him unconscious and tried again until the capture succeeded after roughly seventy throws.
  • Mark held Mewtwo’s Pokeball and murmured, “Mewtwo, I choose you!”

Ch. 362Meaning of Life (Part 1)

After Mewtwo was captured, Mark inspected the damage in the cave and discovered Jirachi’s wish could not repair the broken Cultivation Container. Three hours later, Mewtwo emerged from his Pokeball, and Mark began speaking with him as an equal, leaving Mewtwo curious about Arceus.

  • Jirachi suggested that Mark catch her again, but Mark redirected her attention to the empty Cultivation Container where she and Mark’s genes could be cultivated.
  • Mark and Dr. Philin entered the ruined cave, where Jirachi mourned the broken container and Mark treated the injured Venusaur and found dozens of surviving Magnet Pokemon.
  • Mark explained that Dr. Philin could make new cultivation machines, so Jirachi asked him to rebuild them while Mark prepared to deal with Mewtwo and the coming Academy Cup finals and Hia Kingdom turmoil.
  • After three hours, Mewtwo broke out of his Pokeball and prepared to destroy it, but Mark asked him to listen before acting.
  • Mark introduced Jirachi and Caterpie, and Jirachi told Mewtwo that Arceus was the strongest Pokemon, leaving him thoughtful because he had never heard of Arceus.
