Chapter Summaries

Jirachi and the Bulbasaur Sage merged Miao Miao Mountain with Fallen Sky Forest, with Mew and Victini helping them overcome dangerous disturbances. The Bulbasaur Sage visited Clear Stream Village, discovered its new home had a fast internet connection, and began dominating the online game just as Mark woke up.

• Jirachi and the Bulbasaur Sage began merging Miao Miao Mountain with Fallen Sky Forest, but spatial collapse and an Earthquake disrupted the process.
• Mew helped protect the Pokémon caught in the disturbances, while Victini gave Jirachi and the Bulbasaur Sage Infinite Energy.
• After more than three hours, the two spaces merged successfully, and Jirachi created entrances at Clear Stream Gym and Fallen Sky Mountain.
• Mew used Teleport to bring the hesitant Bulbasaur Sage through the portal, and Jirachi showed it around Clear Stream Village.

After recovering from his exhaustion, Mark discovered that Clear Stream Forest had transformed into Fallen Sky Forest, granting him greatly increased power and a connection to Miao Miao Mountain. He arrived at the forest entrance in Experiment Area Four just as a frightened Venusaur fell through from another world.

• Mark woke at noon, learned Jirachi had left on important business, and found that Leafeon had completed Jirachi’s daily game quests.
• Mark discovered his Clear Stream Power had gained a starlight-like effect that could strengthen himself and other humans or Pokemon.
• Mark found starlight scattered throughout the forest and realized it was becoming known as Fallen Sky Forest instead of Clear Stream Forest.
• Mark sensed that Fallen Sky Power had increased six or seven times and that he could draw strength from the vast world connected to it, which he identified as Miao Miao Mountain.
• Mark flew to the entrance above Experiment Area Four, where a frightened Venusaur fell into the laboratory and calmed down after seeing more than twenty Bulbasaur.

Mark returned to Miao Miao Mountain after Jirachi’s reckless rescue of Bulbasaur Sage damaged parts of the merged territory, then found a possible way to help Mew survive outside God Tree Space. He left with Mew to investigate whether it could become the master of a real-world forest or mountain before the God Tree was irreversibly damaged.

• Mark returned the rescued Bulbasaur Pokemon to Miao Miao Mountain, fenced off Jirachi’s dangerous spatial trap, and found damage in two corners of the territory.
• Mewtwo told Mark what had happened overnight, then continued helping Dr. Philin build cultivation devices while Mark went to Clear Stream Gym.
• Mark scolded Jirachi for creating a trap that could have killed Pokemon, and Jirachi admitted it had been wrong.
• Jirachi proposed merging Mew’s God Tree Space into Fallen Sky Forest, but Mark explained that Mew could not become a Wish Star’s Envoy like Bulbasaur Sage.

Shaymin searched for the Flower Field after escaping a strange, disordered world and followed the noise of a battle through the forest. There, Leafeon appeared before the Galaxy Organization members after Doctor Huo Song died rather than surrender the Adamant Orb Activator information.

• Shaymin worried that it had missed another opening of the Flower Field, blamed the terrifying creature whose battle had swept it into a strange world, and followed Pikachu's trail to eat a discarded pinecone.
• Shaymin heard a fight in the forest and cautiously went to investigate despite its usual fear of danger.
• Li Jin and the Galaxy Organization's Houndoom pursued Doctor Huo Song, demanding information about the Adamant Orb Activator.
• Doctor Huo Song ordered Golem to use Explosion, but Li Jin's Crobat shielded him and the blast failed to kill either man.
• Doctor Huo Song died from a dagger wound in his chest, and Leafeon appeared to confront Li Jin and the others.

Leafeon defeated Li Jin and the Galaxy Organization members who attacked, then tried to save the mortally wounded Doctor Huo Song. After Huo Song recovered, he thanked Leafeon and it searched for a missing Life Fruit.

• Li Jin tried to bargain for Leafeon by threatening Mark's life, but Leafeon rejected him and battered his Drapion.
• Li Jin's Galaxy Organization members ordered their Pokemon to attack, but Steel Eevee shielded Leafeon and Doctor Huo Song while Espeon and Flareon drove the attackers away.
• Doctor Huo Song told Leafeon to deliver a chip to the Gym Leader of Brilliant Gym, then lost consciousness after saying the gym's name.
• Leafeon used a Life Fruit to restore Huo Song, who woke up unharmed and thanked it.
• Leafeon looked for the third Life Fruit after noticing that only two remained.

Mark tracked the Galaxy Organization officers who had fought Leafeon, subdued them, and sent them toward Clear Stream Village after wiping their memories. Princess Lilith arrived after the confrontation and learned that Mark had buried two of the officers while the others were being sent away.

• Li Jin and his subordinates fled through East Ridge Marsh Forest and decided to report their failed mission to the Galaxy Organization.
• Mark appeared at their camp with Mewtwo and Porygon, while Li Jin's men discovered their Pokédexes could no longer connect to the network.
• Mark used Aura to sense the recent battle and concluded that Leafeon had been careless in letting the officers escape.
• Li Jin recognized Mark's Memory Potion and silver gun and asked whether he was Evil Doctor Locke before Mark made him drink the potion.
• Mark and his Pokémon gave Memory Potion to Li Jin's subordinates, buried two dead men, and sent the remaining officers toward Clear Stream Village.
• Princess Lilith arrived and asked Mark what had happened; Mark explained that the surviving officers could still be saved but had been sent away on their own.

Mark explained that the attackers would lose their memories and work in Clear Stream Village, then identified Leafeon's missing Pokemon as Shaymin. Meanwhile, Leafeon helped Doctor Huo Song recover and came to think of itself as Mark's Pokemon; when Mark arrived, Leafeon had discovered that Life Fruits were disappearing.

• Lilith asked whether the attackers might regain their memories and escape, and Mark admitted that was possible before asking if her mother's Crystal pendant had reacted; neither it nor the Lunar Wing had.
• Mark explained that the Galaxy Organization had pursued Doctor Huo Song over the Adamant Boost technique and guessed that the Pokemon Leafeon sought was Shaymin.
