As the title says, it'll be going premium tomorrow.

It had been a long time since I'd written one of these notes, so I thought I'd talk a little this time.

When I first started creating this book, I considered several different openings: starting in the Sun Moon Empire, starting in the Body Sect, even starting in the Holy Spirit Cult.

I wrote some of each opening, with the longest one reaching nearly thirty thousand words.

But in the end, I still decided to go with Shrek. Indeed, when many people saw Shrek as the starting point, their first reaction was that the protagonist was a bootlicker and that there was no originality.

But I gave this choice a great deal of thought.

I wanted to plant foreshadowing, but because of my writing ability, I couldn't do it well.

Seventy chapters had been released by now, and the main plot had only just begun, yet most of the book reviews were criticism.

At first, I couldn't be bothered to explain, because I thought there was no need. Once you saw the results later on, it should have been fine.

But now it seemed that approach had been inappropriate. At the very least, I hadn't explained many things clearly, and I hadn't planted the foreshadowing well, causing many readers to be unable to continue and either drop the book outright or put it aside to stockpile chapters.

Because of that, this book's performance fell far short of my expectations. It only received two rounds of recommendations, and the earnings were minimal.

Today, I wanted to talk about the plot from this period.
