Ah Yin was Blue Silver Grass without parents or a given name. She spent tens of thousands of years in the Blue Silver Forest, where loneliness encouraged her desire to explore the wider world. After taking human form, she named herself Ah Yin and began learning human customs 2 3.

She had also lived in the Star Dou Great Forest for countless years and possessed some knowledge of its hidden, powerful soul beasts. Her curiosity extended to the Extreme North, but she considered herself too weak to explore it alone 3 120.

Joining Spirit Hall

Qian Yunxiao encounters Ah Yin in Skywater City and abandons his intended proposal to Shui Youlan after seeing her five-star system rating. Ah Yin initially refuses his invitation to join Spirit Hall, fearing that its Titled Douluo would kill her for her Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring 1 2.

Qian Yunxiao gives her an Elder Token while secretly placing guards at the city's exits. Ah Yin eventually chooses the local branch, reasoning that it has no Soul Douluo capable of exposing her and that Spirit Hall possesses valuable records about soul beasts.
