Background / History

Xiao Wu lived at the Lake of Life in the Star Dou Great Forest with her mother, Qing Wu. When Qing Wu chose to spend time in the human world, Xiao Wu was left under Daming and Erming's care. Although distressed by her mother's departure, she obediently remained at the Lake of Life as instructed. 21

When Qian Yunxiao arrived at the Lake of Life with Qing Wu, Xiao Wu reunited with her mother after being separated from her for months. Qing Wu encouraged her to accept Qian Yunxiao as her godfather, and Xiao Wu called him “Dad” despite initially not understanding the human concept of godparenthood. Qian Yunxiao then formally accepted her as his first goddaughter. 38 39

After consuming a Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma, Xiao Wu's accumulated cultivation reached the threshold for transformation. Ah Yin and Qing Wu assisted her through the process, after which she became a human child. Qian Yunxiao chose to preserve her original name rather than give her a new one. 44 45

In her original form, Xiao Wu is a large pink rabbit. After transforming, she becomes a human girl physically resembling a four-year-old child. 21 45
