Ryo then took Kita to get the cleaning supplies, while Nijika lowered her head to look at Bocchi beneath the table and spoke to her gently.

Bocchi nodded weakly in agreement, then obediently crawled out and followed Nijika toward the bar.
Seika, seated off to the side, looked at the "teammates" her sister had brought in and already felt tired on Nijika's behalf.
She began to wonder whether they could really lighten her sister's burden—or whether they would only make it worse.
