Every time I looked at the calendar, I marveled at how quickly time flew. It felt like 2022 had passed in the blink of an eye, while the day I started this book in July 2021 seemed like only yesterday. Before I knew it, we had already spent a year and a half together.
This book was probably the most enjoyable one of my entire writing career. Both its narrative style and pacing were new things I had never tried before.
Of course, the most important reason was having all of you by my side.
Haha, although Qidian urged me to write this letter, every word of it came from the heart.
In my previous works, I had never tried creating so many characters. But while writing this book, every time I opened the chapter comments, I found an endless stream of inspiration.
One person's imagination had limits, but it was different when many people's imaginations came together!
There was so much I wanted to thank you all for, but whenever I tried to say it, it felt too deliberate. Besides, I was sneezing nonstop right now, and I could barely keep my eyes open.
Looking ahead to the coming year!
I hoped that in the new year, I could bring everyone more interesting stories, and that I could improve my health a little more as well. Otherwise, forget paying off what I owed—I would have to give it my all just to maintain a steady update schedule.
