Bloodsport stopped worrying about Peacemaker. He pulled out the trick he had been saving for last, taking out component after component from his body and assembling them into a massive firearm.
The weapon was an enormous grenade launcher, far more powerful than an ordinary one. Grenade after grenade struck Starro, erupting in violent explosions and dealing it considerable damage.
And that only enraged Starro further.
"Roar!"
Starro roared. Its huge eye rolled around before spotting the Suicide Squad. Then, it actually began rolling forward, its five tentacles acting like wheels as it charged toward the squad, sending everyone scattering in fright.
"Quick, attack!"
Bloodsport shouted as he continued firing, signaling for his teammates to pitch in as well.
"Roar!"
King Shark showed no fear. He charged straight at Starro, then leaped when he drew close. He sprang dozens of meters into the air and landed directly on Starro, opening his massive jaws and biting down savagely.
Well, although King Shark's sharp teeth could easily tear through Starro's skin, the difference in size was simply too great. His bites could not inflict much damage on Starro and only angered it further.
"Bang!"
Starro's other tentacles lashed out and smacked King Shark away. He was sent flying and could not threaten Starro at all.
"Polka-Dot Man, hurry up and show us what you can do."
Bloodsport looked at Polka-Dot Man, who was hiding in a corner, and felt his anger rise. He shouted irritably.
Polka-Dot Man was actually extremely powerful. The polka dots he fired were highly corrosive, and Bloodsport had witnessed that firsthand before.
The problem was that Polka-Dot Man was naturally timid. Faced with the gigantic Starro, he had hidden off to the side in fear.
