At that moment, Kang the Conqueror had no idea that Chen Mu was already preparing to make a move against him. This time, Chen Mu was arresting him on behalf of China, so he at least had a somewhat legitimate reason. Yet he hadn't expected this guy to just admit it outright.
That made things easy. He could just act now—he didn't even need an excuse.
"Turn yourself in? Heh, what a joke. I'm a conqueror who has swept across the multiverse. You think you can make me surrender?"
Kang the Conqueror still had his pride. The thought that someone would one day point at his nose and declare that he was under arrest was simply intolerable.
With his hot temper, he immediately attacked Chen Mu. The cannons on his hands fired at the man before him, blue light erupting in an instant. Before the Ant-Man family could react, the energy blast containing immense power stopped right in front of Chen Mu.
"So it looks like you're violently resisting the law?"
Chen Mu remained utterly calm. Kang the Conqueror's powerful energy attack did not seem worth his notice. His expression had not changed from beginning to end.
Then again, Kang the Conqueror's attack truly posed no threat to him. Even if he stood still, the other man would never break through his defenses.
But standing there without fighting back and letting the other man attack was not Chen Mu's style.

Chen Mu raised a hand and lightly snapped his fingers. The energy blast he had already controlled in front of him flickered like a dying candle in the wind, extinguished like a candle blown out, leaving no trace behind.
