While Chen Mu was still puzzled, Zhen Yuanzi's voice rang out. He bowed toward the space ahead.
The next moment, a gate of light opened before them. Beyond it lay a picturesque paradise, where two young attendants were already waiting at the entrance and gesturing for them to enter.
Zhen Yuanzi and Chen Mu did not hesitate. They flew into the gate of light, which immediately closed behind them and sealed itself once more.
These two attendants were Nüwa's disciples, named Caiyun and Biyun.
They both came from the Phoenix Clan. After the Phoenix Clan declined, Nüwa took in several attendants, preserving some of the Phoenix Clan's bloodline.
Led by Caiyun and Biyun, Chen Mu and Zhen Yuanzi soon arrived beside a river. There stood a simple house, and before it sat a dignified, beautiful woman leisurely drinking tea. When she saw them, she smiled and nodded, motioning for them to come sit down.
This woman was naturally Goddess Nüwa.
Zhen Yuanzi stepped forward and respectfully bowed. Setting everything else aside, their respective strengths alone demanded such courtesy.
"Goddess Nüwa, it has been many years. This humble Daoist has prepared a modest gift."
As a Quasi-Saint, Zhen Yuanzi naturally had to present a gift when meeting a Saint-level figure like Nüwa.
Of course, Nüwa did not particularly care about such things. She merely invited them to sit, a smile on her face.
"May I ask what brings Fellow Daoist Zhen Yuanzi here?"
Nüwa simply looked at Zhen Yuanzi with a smile while curiously studying Chen Mu. As a Saint, she could divine many things and had roughly foreseen Zhen Yuanzi and
