Yuanshi had always valued origins and talent. In the Honghuang World, the Chan Sect he founded differed from the Jie Sect founded by Master of Heaven. He was extremely demanding when accepting disciples; if someone lacked talent, they would never even catch his eye.
This was the complete opposite of Tongtian. When Master of Heaven accepted disciples, he truly taught without discrimination. As long as one was willing to learn and wished to step onto the path of cultivation, Master of Heaven would teach them spells and cultivation methods, allowing them to become a member of the Jie Sect.
