Tired, Let It All Burn

Something wasn't right, was it? He had fought so desperately back then, yet he had never possessed this much Power of Asgard. Why did Thor only have to casually change Asgard's name to obtain such immense Power of Asgard?

I refuse to accept this!

Odin was furious. Back then, he had risked life and limb, yet he had never achieved Thor's current glory. How could he not be jealous?

"What is this?"

Odin opened his mouth. He had been planning to put family before personal feelings again, but in the blink of an eye, Thor had become even stronger than him. How was Odin supposed to clean house now?

It would be a joke if the one getting purged turned out to be him.

So, after a moment's consideration, Odin changed his mind without altering his expression. He did not clash with Thor again and simply asked.

If they truly fought and he, Odin, got thrown out, his lifelong reputation would be finished.

"You mean the Power of Asgard?"

Thor had not realized that Odin had been ready to purge him from the family, only to be intimidated by his current Power of Asgard. He did not hide anything from his biological father. Scratching his head, he said with a foolish grin, "The Power of Asgard recognized my ideals. If Asgard wants to keep developing, its only chance is to implement socialism. Only when everyone is equal can Asgard possibly continue to develop."

"So, Father, stop. This is the trend of the times!"

Odin's face darkened, and the corners of his mouth twitched uncontrollably. So Thor had done nothing at all? He had merely proposed a concept, an ideal, and had somehow talked the Power of Asgard into running entirely to him?
