"What are Dark Elves?"

Naturally, this was Thor's first time hearing that name, so he found Hela's words quite strange.

"They are a hostile race of Asgard, and they are very powerful."

Hela shot him a speechless glance, though this was hardly the time to dwell on Thor making her apologize earlier.

Hela looked at the enormous cross-shaped spaceship that had suddenly appeared in the sky and calmly explained it to Thor.

"The old man once told me that thousands of years ago, the Dark Elves tried to use Aether to plunge the entire universe into darkness. In the end, it was his father—our grandfather—who thwarted the Dark Elves' scheme and defeated them."

The Dark Elves had fought a war against Asgard thousands of years ago. Naturally, the final result had been Asgard's victory.

They could not compare with China, but compared with other factions, Asgard was still extremely powerful. The Dark Elves of thousands of years ago had been formidable, yet they had still suffered a narrow defeat at Asgard's hands.
