Vision looked utterly serious, completely failing to notice Tony's awkward predicament.

Vision's spirit of sacrifice and dedication was admirable, even moving—but if he took all the glory for himself, what was Tony supposed to do?

Fine, he could show off if he wanted, but he had stripped Tony clean in the process. At the very least, he should have left him a set of clothes!

Tony felt like crying, but Vision said nothing more and flew straight toward Ego's brain. He clasped his hands together, transforming them into a high-energy laser cannon as immense power erupted from him.

The current Vision was unlike the original Vision. He was a mechanical life-form given life by the AllSpark, whereas the Vision from the original timeline had been brought to life by the power of an Infinity Stone. They had certain similarities, but they were fundamentally different.

There might have been some difference in their abilities. This Vision was not as absurdly powerful as the gem-powered version and lacked all sorts of miraculous abilities, but he had his own unique qualities.

At the very least, this Vision truly possessed a life of his own. His strength also depended on technological advancement: the more advanced the available weapons technology became, the more powerful the weapons he could wield. His growth potential was therefore quite impressive.

Furthermore, Tony had joined China, so some non-classified weapons data could be handed over to him. That indirectly made Vision exceptionally powerful.

He would not be like the original Vision, who would immediately kick the bucket as soon as the Mind Stone was pried out.

That original Vision had practically been a parasite of the Infinity Stones. Without the Mind Stone, he was nothing.
