Seeing that Lady Loki seemed determined to kill them, the Time Guardians lost their nerve and tried to communicate with her.
"My name is Sylvie now."
Unmoved, Lady Loki slowly approached the Time Guardians with her longsword in hand. "Remember this: it was me, Sylvie, who killed you!"

Loki could not help but complain from behind her.

Lady Loki—Sylvie—did not even turn around before she suddenly hurled the longsword in her hand at the Time Guardian who had spoken.
The spinning blade met no resistance as it viciously sliced into the Time Guardian's neck. A huge head rolled away. The Time Guardian, once held high above all else and praised to the skies by the Time Variance Authority, had actually been beheaded by Sylvie. Both Lokis were dumbfounded by the sight.
As she watched the head roll toward her, Sylvie instinctively stepped on it. Only when she saw the wires protruding from the Guardian's neck did she understand what had happened.
