I originally wanted to update more at the end of April and make a push for monthly votes, but unfortunately, because of health issues, I didn't manage to push it up. Instead, I updated even less...

I'm sure everyone can tell that the book is already entering its final stretch. But it won't be wrapping up immediately either; winding things down will still take some time—my estimate from the anniversary note was fairly accurate, and there should be roughly another hundred to two hundred chapters left... Most likely fewer than two hundred. In short, finishing in July should be about right.
It's already May Day now, so there are only a little over two months left.
As someone raised by WoW into an achievement hunter, I counted up the achievement badges this book hadn't earned before it ended and found that there were about three still worth looking forward to:
The first is 2 million recommendation votes. That gives an honorary update, but no badge. Judging by the current voting trend, we should be able to reach it before the book ends. No big problem there.
The second is the Hall of Fame Glory three-star badge... We're still nearly twenty thousand points short of that, so I'm guessing we won't make it before the book ends. A bit of a pity. Forget it—those points are hard to save up, so I won't force it.
The third is getting ten thousand monthly votes in a single day, which earns a badge called "One Call, a Hundred Answer." With our usual results, we definitely couldn't get it normally, but now that it's double votes for May Day, and the voting limit has just been changed, I want to earn this badge.
