"Long time no see, old friend..." The headmaster said helplessly, "Your son has caused me quite a bit of trouble."
Caroso had originally wondered why his father had worn a military uniform to welcome the headmaster. Given his father's status, he should have worn something formal or more casual. So the headmaster was an old friend...
To Osiris, wearing a military uniform was the greatest sign of respect.
"Please." Osiris extended a hand.
"Mm." The headmaster nodded, and the group entered the Kolia family estate together.
After reaching the living room, Osiris said to Caroso, "Go upstairs first. I have something to discuss with my old friend."
"Alright."
Caroso answered and went upstairs with Krumen.
Following behind Caroso, Krumen felt as though thorns were pricking her back.
She did not know why, but she was terrified of seeing Grand Duke Osiris. Perhaps it was his authority, or perhaps it was those eyes of his that seemed able to see through everything.
In a daze, Krumen had already followed Caroso into his room.
When the door closed, Krumen jumped, and her expression immediately changed.
