Shen Yi used Instant Movement to catch up with the two men. Without a word, he shot them dead and threw their bodies out of the building.
With that off his mind,
he used Instant Movement to return to the room.
"Husband!"
Jiangnan Yan and Bai Xinyi jumped at Shen Yi's sudden appearance, then broke into delighted smiles.
Xu Wanting hurried out of the kitchen to greet him.
Shen Yi glanced over the three women. Their auras were all clear white, and he nodded in satisfaction.
Good. None of them harbored any disloyal thoughts.
After a brief greeting, Shen Yi sat on the sofa, took out his phone, and searched for his hometown on Amap.
Now that he had Telepathy, he no longer had to fear dangers hidden in the Black Fog. He could go home and bring back his little sister and grandmother.
His little sister's phone might have run out of battery. He had not been able to reach her for days.
But Shen Yi was not especially worried.
His little sister was clever, and his grandmother was no stubborn old woman.
Knowing them, they would be fine for a while unless they encountered something beyond their control.
"Seventy-three kilometers. Not too far, but I'll need to find a car and fill the tank first..." Shen Yi studied the distance on the map and made his plans.
He could also search for Ability Fruits while he was out.
"Husband, are you going here?" Jiangnan Yan asked curiously when she saw the route on his phone.
"Yeah."
"Husband, an ordinary sedan probably can't handle the roads now. We'll need a powerful off-road vehicle at the very least," Jiangnan Yan said.

Jiangnan Yan shook her head. "I can't reach her. Her phone might be dead, or she might already be... But it's fine. I know which building she lives in. We can go over, get the keys, and drive away."
"All right."
Shen Yi had asked because he wanted to know whether Jiangnan Yan's friend was pretty. If she was, perhaps he could unlock some supplies along the way.
But since they could not reach her, getting a car and going home came first.
With a car, a seventy-odd-kilometer trip there and back would take only a few hours.
Once he brought his grandmother and little sister here, he could find somewhere safer and build a shelter.

He could not keep living like a drifter, moving from place to place every day.

Three women emerged, freshly washed and dressed in pajamas.

Shen Yi had spent hours out today and was getting hungry.

with a wave of his hand, he took ten steaks and several cups of instant noodles from the System Space.
He had not had instant noodles in ages. Today, he would eat them with steak!
"Bai Xinyi and I will cook the steaks."
Xu Wanting was unusually considerate today, volunteering to help without being asked.
Shen Yi glanced at her, pleased.
Xu Wanting was quite lovable when she was not scheming.
Once the steaks were cooked and the noodles were ready, Shen Yi took out three roast chickens and two large bottles of cola.
Time to eat!
With more women around, each meal used up more supplies.
Of course, to Shen Yi, it was still a drop in the bucket.

Looking up at the high-rise, Jiangnan Yan said, "Husband, my friend lives on the fifteenth floor."
Shen Yi immediately activated Telepathy and scanned the entire building for hidden dangers.
"Hm?"
"What's this..."
Shen Yi raised an eyebrow.
As he scanned floor by floor, he noticed something unusual about the eighteenth floor.
The lights were on up there!
That meant someone on the eighteenth floor had electricity!!
A generator?
Or some other way to produce power...
The eighteenth-floor windows were also impossible to see through from outside. Someone seemed to have installed privacy glass deliberately.
Its exterior walls had been reinforced with special materials as well. The place looked like a steel fortress!
"Probably a doomsday enthusiast's shelter that finally came in handy."
Shen Yi was not too surprised.

"Husband, I forgot the code." Jiangnan Yan tried several codes at the building entrance, but none worked.
Shen Yi had not expected her to open it. He stepped forward, put an arm around her, and used Instant Movement to enter the building.
Meanwhile,
on the eighteenth floor,
behind the privacy glass stood a tall, capable-looking woman. She held a snow-white fox in her arms and stared down at the entrance. Her red eyes seemed able to pierce the Black Fog as she fixed them on the spot where Shen Yi had vanished.
She watched for a long time, her expression grave and her eyes flickering. Her red lips moved softly.
"A Space ability user!"
