First Signs of Trouble

A boundless blue sky.

A swarming mass of monstrous insects hung like storm clouds, instantly casting a shadow over the area around Lin Tu. Before she could react, the elf beside her and the others all changed expression.

"Quick! Report to Lord Shen Yi! The number of these monsters is seriously different from what we expected!"

Mia's expression was grave.

With such an enormous number, there had to be more than three hundred of them on the forward battle line alone. If these creatures were allowed to flood into the rear, she did not even need to imagine the devastation they would cause. If not for Lin Tu and the three weak ability users beside her, Mia would have already forced her way into battle.

Before the monstrous insects' battle line fully gathered, this was the best time to strike. Once they missed it, other problems could easily arise!

"I already reported it earlier. I reported this number too, but Lord Long Aoshuang and Lord Shen Yi haven't replied yet..."

Lin Tu's face had gone pale.

She had originally thought this ambush would be like the ones Long Aoshuang and Murong Xue had encountered on the battlefield before. She only needed to stand far away and watch everyone else put in the effort; it had nothing to do with her.

But things were different now.

The apocalyptic sight of the insects sweeping across the sky, making the surroundings tremble and even causing the air pressure to drop noticeably, gave Lin Tu a suffocating feeling inside the barrier.

The elves arranged by Shen Yi and Long Aoshuang were clearly right beside her, and Long Aoshuang had even specifically left people behind to protect her. Yet when Lin Tu saw the countless monstrous insects streaking through the sky, she could not stop
