"The specific circumstances under which these spatial nodes can be used will be entirely up to you."
Long Aoshuang held her breath. She knew what a tremendous amount of trust and responsibility that meant.
"I've preset a total number of uses for these 168 nodes around the world," Shen Yi continued.
"Three thousand spatial transfers in total."
"That number doesn't limit how many people can be transported at once. As long as it's activated once, it counts as one use. Before those three thousand uses are exhausted, the nodes' energy will be maintained by the source I've reserved and their own absorption functions. You won't need to worry about it separately."
"After three thousand uses," Shen Yi said, his tone growing heavier, "you'll have to find a way yourself to replenish the energy needed to keep the nodes running and conduct transfers."
"That may involve finding an alternative energy source, or... waiting for me to come back and handle it. Understood?"
Three thousand times sounded like a lot, but considering the global scale and all the possible situations in the future, it was not a number that could be squandered at will. It was more like a hidden strategic reserve, a trump card.
Long Aoshuang took a deep breath, suppressing the excitement and gravity in her heart, and nodded solemnly.
"I understand, husband. I'll use it cautiously, keep records and evaluations for every activation, and make sure that every bit of energy in those three thousand transfers is used where it's most necessary."
"I trust you." Shen Yi nodded.
He had always been confident in Long Aoshuang's ability to coordinate and manage things. Leaving her this authority and quota both granted her greater autonomy and adaptability, and provided another layer of assurance that she could independently hold the situation together
