Fei Mi returned from Shen Yi’s barrier and confronted the captured Succubus, asking about Lilith and revealing that the Succubus had been cut off from her people. The Succubus began to tremble as she realized the messages she had received were false and that she, like Fei Mi, was one of The Abandoned.

Xilos revealed that she had a forty percent chance of restoring Korti and prepared to journey to the Twilight Abyss, giving Kolun a protective robe and telling him to flee if danger overwhelmed him. Meanwhile, Shen Yi and the women discovered a vast underground city inhabited by fewer than a hundred blue-skinned humans, most of whose people the Succubi had killed.

• Xilos explained that she had gathered Korti's remaining spirit and might be able to bring her back.
• Kolun reflected on Xilos's role in protecting the Elf race from the Black Fog and asked where she was going.

Back in Xia Country, Shen Yi learned that five days had passed on Blue Star during the two days he experienced in the Shadow World, and Jiang Huo began working on a way to measure the time difference between the worlds.

• Winnie told Shimada Yukimi that Polo Sha grew where Nether Souls gathered and could nourish the soul, though taking it was dangerous.
• Shimada Yukimi agreed to find Polo Sha but insisted Winnie wait until Shen Yi returned before taking it, then followed the coordinates deeper into the labyrinth.
