The past few days in Amegakure had been fairly peaceful. Though Nagato had not openly shown much of his attitude toward Moriyue before, he had generally regarded him as an enemy.
But after this treatment, no matter how much Nagato disliked Moriyue, the man had saved his life. There was no way Nagato could simply turn hostile and attack him.
Besides, Konan had been subtly suggesting that he should avoid clashing with Moriyue during this period. After all, Moriyue had treated Nagato's body. Nagato had been unconscious at the time, and Konan had no idea whether Moriyue had tampered with his body. They could not afford to conflict with him right now.
Moriyue sat in his room. Calling it a room was generous; it contained only the most basic bed. It seemed this place had originally been used to store supplies.
Calculating the time, he waved at the sleeping Black-faced Sheep. Without even opening its eyes, it drifted back into Moriyue's body in its sleep. After considering it for a few seconds, Moriyue recalled the Snake Talisman as well. There was no need to hide now. Some things had to be made clear to Nagato face-to-face.
As he pushed open the door, Moriyue happened to see Konan standing outside. She had just come from Nagato's room, and upon seeing Moriyue, she instinctively turned her gaze aside.

Perhaps because she did not want to disturb Nagato in the neighboring room, her voice was rather soft. Her short purple hair had become somewhat dry after all the strain and worry of recent days.
