Chapter Summaries

Kakuzu withdrew the Land of Akatsuki’s forces as blockades and missing troops threatened the country, while Obito struggled to break Kushina’s seal and remained unable to find the Six-Tails Jinchuriki. Obito agreed to defend Akatsuki Village against the approaching Iwagakure ninja.

• Kakuzu judged that shortages and the blockade would soon force the Land of Akatsuki to retreat, then ordered a withdrawal after learning Hidan’s force had vanished and Iwagakure ninja were near Akatsuki Village.
• Obito failed to find a way to break Kushina’s Yin-Yang Sealing Bind without relying on Black Zetsu, and White Zetsu still had not located the Six-Tails Jinchuriki.
• Kakuzu told Obito about the missing Hidan force and the threats to Akatsuki Village, explaining that he had withdrawn the forces on the Land of Wind front and ordered the Land of Fire front to retreat.

• Hagoromo Otsutsuki told Naruto that he was Asura’s reincarnation, warned him that the Ten-Tails’ revival was suspicious, and gave him Yin-Yang Power to seal Madara Uchiha.

Anju’s Sage Chakra cannons severely wounded Kaguya Otsutsuki, but Obito rescued her before Kushina and Naruto could seal her. In the Kamui Dimension, Obito asked Kaguya for the power to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi so he could bring Rin back, and Kaguya briefly echoed his wishful thinking.

• Kaguya Otsutsuki revived after Kiesuna Shota’s Impure World Reincarnation Body vanished and recognized the Sky Battleship and Anju’s power.
• Anju powered two Secondary Cannons with Sage Chakra, which Kaguya could not absorb, and the blasts pierced her heart and spine.
