Having just turned and walked out of the illusion realm, preparing for the third round, Aqi Dai'er was surrounded by Barbara and the group he had brought with him.
"Aqi Dai'er, it's been nearly half a month already. How is your progress in cracking the array plates?" Barbara was the first to challenge him.
During the second round, Barbara had remained in the illusion realm for three days. Unable to observe any results, he withdrew. Over the following days, he occasionally came in to check, only to find that Aqi Dai'er had made no apparent progress and still had not even finished cracking the first array plate. Thus, when he saw Aqi Dai'er emerge this time, he brought people over to confront him.
"The progress has been fairly smooth." Aqi Dai'er answered expressionlessly. Naturally, he could tell that Barbara was targeting him.
"What do you mean, fairly smooth?! How many array plates have you cracked in half a month?" Barbara pressed on, though he already knew the answer. He knew perfectly well that Aqi Dai'er had not even completed the first array plate.
"Not many. The first array plate has not been fully cracked yet," Aqi Dai'er admitted.
"So that means no progress at all?!" Barbara retorted after hearing this.
"Those who don't understand arrays shouldn't speak carelessly." Aqi Dai'er countered calmly.
Barbara nearly exploded with anger at those words. He had studied arrays, after all. He simply had not inherited array arts like Aqi Dai'er, nor did he possess such powerful computational ability. Being dismissed as someone who knew nothing about arrays was more than he could tolerate.
"Am I wrong? To destroy this massive illusion realm, I'm afraid at least a hundred array plates would have to be destroyed before it had any effect. Even if you cracked
