Inside the Filtering Barrier, the Two-Star Asuras and Three-Star Asuras could not sense the barrier's existence at all. They had no idea where to begin if they wanted to break it.
For the moment, La Weisi and the others could only watch helplessly as the One-Star Asuras turned to ash beneath the lightning. Only a handful of One-Star Asuras with exceptionally powerful bodies managed to survive.
La Weisi quickly reacted. "All Two-Star and Three-Star Asuras, stop advancing! Use area attacks to offset the lightning falling from the sky! One-Star Asuras, cross this region as quickly as possible!"
Although they could not attack the barrier Miko had set up, La Weisi quickly realized that they could attack the lightning to reduce how frequently the One-Star Asuras were struck. That should save quite a few of them.
After receiving La Weisi's order, the others hesitated slightly, but they still complied.
High above the Sky Dome, ripples of area attacks spread out, blocking much of the lightning. Even the bolts that pierced through the attacks had been greatly weakened by the time they struck.
Seeing this, the One-Star Asuras began madly rushing forward, wanting to leave this strange area as quickly as possible.
"They found a way to deal with it..." Sea Emperor shrugged helplessly.
"It won't be that easy!" Miko's lips curled slightly as his hands suddenly formed several seals.
As Miko formed the seals, the entire ground within the Filtering Barrier began to collapse. Many One-Star Asuras were affected by the swamp effect and could no longer fly properly, slowly falling downward.
Below the ground, streams of fire snakes rose up and swept toward those slowly descending figures.
The army erupted in screams once more. Many were directly swept away by the fire snakes, turning into charred corpses.
