In the void, rivers of purple surged endlessly, like great dragons dancing through the air.
Entangled and colliding with those purple rivers, pillar-like black radiance shot skyward, carrying the power to tear apart the heavens. Every strike seized the smallest opening, trying to break through the dragons' defenses.
Thunderous booms continued to ripple through the void.
Elsa was swinging her great halberd as she clashed with the young woman.
Elsa's defense was like an endlessly rushing river, forcibly blocking the young woman's attacks time and again.
The young woman, meanwhile, repeatedly tried to break through Elsa's defenses, intending to kill the Big Guys from the Viking Clan behind her.
Their standoff continued for two or three hours.
Then, the black radiance in the void suddenly vanished, and the young woman retreated rapidly.
Elsa was somewhat surprised, but she still did not dare lower her guard in the slightest. She watched her opponent with a wary expression.
"I'm done. Continuing like this would only be a waste of time. Your actual combat ability is stronger than I expected. From the very beginning, I never intended to win this round. I only wanted to probe your strength as much as possible. But from start to finish, you never even used a divine ability, yet you completely defended against my attacks. And as my attacks continued, your defense became increasingly flawless."
Elsa remained silent. She was somewhat worried that this was merely a trick to deceive her.
Seeing Elsa's expression, the young woman helplessly shrugged, then raised a hand toward the sky and shouted, "I concede!"
Even Elsa was stunned by that action.
"This is only the first trial, so I can't use my full strength. I hope to meet you again in the later stages and fight you with everything I have."
