When that voice suddenly sounded beside his ear, Sea Emperor bristled like a startled cat, every hair on his body standing on end. The voice had appeared without the slightest warning, and he had not sensed any presence nearby at all. That meant the other party was far stronger than him.
"Oh no, I've been discovered!"
"Don't be nervous. I mean you no harm."
The other party's second sentence eased Sea Emperor's nerves slightly. He turned to look behind him, only to find nothing there. He immediately spun around.
"Who are you?! Stop playing tricks!"
"Hehe, kid, you should tell me who you are first. And why were you able to follow the water pipes to this level when the pipes were clearly under restrictions?" The voice still entered his ears directly, as though someone were whispering less than a centimeter away from him.
Sea Emperor looked around, then extended his detection ability in every direction, but found nothing. After frowning for a moment, he suddenly realized the other party's identity and curled his lips into a smile. "I know who you are!"
"Oh? Let's hear it!" The other party truly seemed to harbor no ill will toward Sea Emperor.
"You're that scrawny old man imprisoned on this level!" Sea Emperor stated the truth.
The voice fell silent for a moment before speaking again. "So that little machine disguised as dust was made by you? That thing should have detection capabilities, right? Could you be from the Mechanical Race?!"
"I'm not from the Mechanical Race. I didn't expect you to discover the Dust Detector's secret. It seems you really are bored every day. No normal person would inspect the internal structure of a speck of dust..." Sea Emperor had not expected someone to discover the Dust
