While Elizabeth was teaching Bu Lai a lesson, Tagore on the other side also gave chase after Bernardo.
Bernardo repeatedly dodged, unwilling to fight Tagore. He knew that once he stopped, there was a strong chance she would tie him down. He had watched her battle with Bu Lai earlier and knew she excelled in close combat. He had even secretly felt pleased, believing she could not possibly catch up to him.
But he quickly discovered that he was wrong—terribly wrong.
Just as he was about to plunge into the battlefield below, a figure blocked his path. Looking closely, he saw that it was the woman who had just come after him. He had not even sensed how she had appeared.
"If I didn't stop you now, you really would barge into a battlefield that doesn't belong to you." Tagore wore a mischievous smile. In her female form, she had less of Elizabeth's elegance, but more liveliness and playful charm.
"If it were that woman from before, I might have been wary. But you're only a Body Cultivator. Even if you're stronger than me, you still can't stop me." The moment Bernardo finished speaking, his body vanished again.
But suddenly, a strange force tore through space and clamped onto the back of his collar, forcibly dragging him out of his concealed state.
Bernardo was startled. He immediately broke free from her grasp, retreated sharply, and stared at Tagore with full vigilance.
"Your movement technique might work on others, but before me, it's nothing more than a child's trick. Whether you use the Path of Shadow or Space and Time Dao Principles, I can drag you out without breaking a sweat!" Tagore's face was full of mockery.
"In that case, I won't use those Dao Principles!" Bernardo flashed away once more.
