Knowing the Limits

The day of free activity passed quickly. The thirty thousand trial participants gathered in the plaza again on time, yet not a single person chose to withdraw.

This clearly came as something of a surprise to Haiweier as well. Based on past experience, someone would always withdraw after he announced the death rate. At most, several hundred would leave; at the very least, twenty or thirty would withdraw. Yet this time, not one person did.

"Very good. It seems that not only are this batch of trial participants stronger than before, but they are also far more courageous."

"Since everyone has arrived on time, we will begin the teleportation. The teleportation array connects to the planet closest to Trial Land. After arriving there, do not wander around. Someone will arrange for spacecraft to take you into Trial Land."

"The teleportation array is on the platform where I am standing. It can teleport no more than a thousand people at a time. To save time, we will proceed according to the Selection Tournament rankings. Numbers 1 through 1000 will be the first group, 1001 through 2000 the second group, and so on, for a total of thirty groups. No cutting in line. Violators will be immediately disqualified from the trial."

Other than Fa Te, the rest of the Gu Ding Pirate Crew were in the first group. After saying goodbye to Fa Te, Gu Ding and the others followed the first group through the teleportation array.

In truth, the intervals between the thirty teleportations were not very long. The process was completed in less than an hour.

Gu Ding and the others waited for less than half an hour before Fa Te was teleported over.

After arriving, the trial participants were guided by Sea Clan staff onto several large ships.
