Definition and Use
Combat Strength is a practical measure of a combatant's usable power rather than a direct restatement of cultivation level. A fighter may exceed their cultivation through physique, abilities, equipment, techniques, or other amplifications; Gatins, for example, is a Five-Star Mid-rank God whose actual combat strength is assessed at One-Star High-rank God. 321
It is regularly considered alongside, but separately from, attack power. Trial results can list the number of combatants possessing Middle Sequence True God combat strength while separately identifying the highest recorded attack power. 770
For exceptional-talent evaluations, only stable regular combat strength counts. Temporary Damage Stacking and Domain amplification are excluded because they are not consistently available in every environment. 334
Combat Strength Tiers
| Tier / Metric | Documented benchmark |
|---|---|
| Ninth-Order Gene Body | Typical combat strength ranges from 100,000 to 1,000,000 points. 169 |
| Twelfth-Order Gene Body | A newly advanced fighter has roughly 100 million combat power; a peak fighter reaches about 1 billion. 200 |
| Thirteenth-Order Gene Body | A newly advanced martial artist has approximately 1 billion combat power. 228 |
| Demigod | Reaching the Demigod Realm increases combat power one hundredfold over the Thirteenth Order. 220 |
| True God | Every Sequence increase represents a ten-thousand-fold increase in combat power. 651 |
| Heavenly God | Each rank normally represents a tenfold difference; Intermediate Sequence Heavenly Gods possess Small Worlds over ten times more stable than those of Primary Sequence Heavenly Gods. 680 |
| Saint-level | A recognized high-tier standard; the War God Palace listed several Gu Ding Pirate Crew members at this level. 1101 |
| Saint Lord-level | Above Saint-level; genuine Saint Lords possess a fundamental advantage over formation-boosted pseudo-Saint Lords. 1093 |
| Saint King-level | A higher combat classification attainable through exceptional innate strength or external amplification, such as a Lord Token. 1133 |
| Main God / Lord-level | Crossing into Lord-level combat strength from Main God Perfection is extraordinarily rare; at this level, fighting across ranks becomes increasingly difficult. 1097 |
| Emperor / Supreme-level | Modified War Weapons can reach Flawless Supreme Realm combat strength; destroying them likely requires a Dominator Realm expert. 1554 |
Combat Strength Modifiers
Techniques and Abilities
- Limitless Body Technique — Raises the user's potential combat power from 100% at the First Level to 320 times at the Twelfth Level. 6
- Berserk abilities — Gu Ding's Second-Order Berserk triples attack, defense, speed, and recovery for ten minutes, followed by ten hours of exhaustion with halved combat power. 49
- Martial Dao Domain — Gu Ding's One-Star Domain suppresses opponents' strength and speed by 90% while increasing his own by ten times; it can only be activated once every ten days. 250
- Damage Stacking — Can multiply maximum output, but is excluded from stable combat-strength evaluations. 334
- Physical Body cultivation — Certain bloodlines can develop physical strength several major ranks beyond cultivation; ancient Dragon Blood Warriors could surpass their cultivation by three major ranks after awakening. 451
Equipment
- Armaments can multiply a user's combat output, but an armament's amplification cannot stack with that of Gu Ding's mecha. 135
- Combatants may overcome superior raw combat strength by exploiting equipment weaknesses, as Gu Ding did when he destroyed Theo's Earth-rank God Weapon by striking its weak points. 1071
- At Lord-level, a cultivator's own Order God Weapon is regarded as their best equipment. 1346
External Enhancements
| Enhancement | Effect |
|---|---|
| Dragon Mark | Blue, red, purple, and gold marks grant increases of one, two, three, and five minor ranks of Combat Strength respectively; black grants none. 1284 |
| Purple-Gold Dragon Mark | Can provide up to ten small stages of enhancement if the user's physical body can endure it. 1324 |
| Combat Strength Formation | Ares's formation pooled the strength of thousands, raising him from Saint Lord-level to Saint King-level; the other nine recipients approached Saint Lord-level. 1087 |
| Lord Token | Can elevate a Saint Lord-level prodigy to pseudo-Saint King-level combat strength. 1133 |
| War Weapons | Robert's completed weapons can contend with top Emperor Realm experts who have mastered 2,999 Great Daos; later modifications raised them to Flawless Supreme Realm. 1512 1554 |
Restrictions and Limitations
- Once combat strength reaches Main God-level or above, earlier enhancement-type Mystical Powers can no longer be used; only Main God-level and Lord-level Mystical Powers remain applicable. 1171
- Direct Combat Strength-enhancing Mystical Powers at these levels are extremely rare and normally provide only limited increases. 1171
- Domain-based strength is conditional: Gu Ding could forcibly draw only Demigods into his Domain, while even One-Star Gods could resist it. 277
- Formation boosts carry shared backlash. When Bigge incapacitated the boosted recipient, the thousand formation members were severely injured and lost their combat strength for days. 1091
- A higher cultivation realm does not guarantee victory. Gu Ding, despite only having Lower-rank Main God cultivation, defeated Main God Perfection body cultivator Le Fu with one finger strike. 1273
Combat Strength Assessment
- The Combat Strength Review is an additional Monarch Hall procedure triggered when a reviewer from the Monarch Hall or one of the five Seven-Star Holy Lands challenges a prior assessment with valid grounds. 1273
- Gu Ding accepted ten review battles after Belief questioned whether his recent Lower-rank Main God breakthrough was sufficient to manage a Five-Star Holy Land. 1273
- Individual-combat assessments may permit all personal methods, including Dharma Bodies and Will Projections, while prohibiting external objects. 795
- The Hidden Dragon Battlefield awards Merit Points for killing native creatures or plundering participants; these points determine Dragon Mark-based Combat Strength bonuses and final rankings. 1284
