Gu Ding and Melissa followed the trail of the killer, and before long, they found a new massacre site.
"These corpses died in exactly the same way as those from the three massacre sites I found earlier."
Melissa merely glanced over the bodies and shook her head.
Gu Ding stepped over to one of the corpses that had been minced into chunks of flesh. After examining it from all sides, he frowned slightly. "This body looks like it was continuously sliced by some special weapon, like a meat grinder. That's why it ended up like this..."
"That's what I think too. The murderer used an extremely precise and complex weapon." Melissa nodded. She shared the same opinion.

"Not entirely. At the previous three massacre sites, some had their heads blasted apart by something, while others had been cut directly in half. But I carefully examined the body that had been severed at the waist. The wound at the cut wasn't made by a sharp weapon like a blade or sword. It showed signs of tearing instead. That made me even more certain that the weapon was the kind we previously suspected—something that could entangle opponents and had serrated edges." Melissa gave her deduction.
"These corpses have not only lost their tokens, but their storage equipment has also been taken... Were the bodies you found earlier the same?" Gu Ding inspected several piles of flesh before asking.
"Yes. The murderer took the victims' storage equipment." Melissa nodded. "That strikes me as strange, because storage equipment is extremely personal. It can only be opened through special means. Of course, we
