Gu Ding's expression changed drastically upon hearing that. He hurriedly turned to look behind him.
But there was no way out behind him. It had long since been sealed off by the metal cage.
Gu Ding was now completely enclosed within a semicircular prison cage. In front of him, a railing made of the same material as the cage separated him from the other side. Beyond the railing was pitch-black, as though it had been isolated by some rule-based power. Gu Ding could not see anything at all.
"There is a way for you to escape..."
At that moment, a hand gripped the railing at the front of the cage. Then, the darkness on the other side of the railing slowly receded, revealing the scene beyond it.
Only then did Gu Ding realize that he was actually inside a circular prison cage, with a railing through its center dividing the entire cage into two semicircles.

His hands and feet were bound by black shackles, the other ends of which were locked to the cage posts behind him. The chains appeared to be only as thick as a thumb, but Gu Ding knew that the shackles were probably made of the same material as the cage.
