"Hey!" King Hunter flashed a brilliant, heartfelt smile. His urge to recruit anyone strong stirred again, and he extended a courteous hand toward Tyrant King. "Pleasure to meet you, pleasure to meet you!"
Tyrant King hesitated for a moment before finally curling his lips slightly and shaking King Hunter's hand. The contact was extremely brief; he let go almost as soon as they touched.
King Hunter did not notice Tyrant King's deliberate resistance. After briefly marveling at how cold the man's hand was, he immediately turned back to recruitment. "Since we've been assigned to the same group, it must be fate. You're so strong—want to join the Hunter Alliance?"
"The Hunter Alliance?" Tyrant King suppressed his intention to leave and could not help feeling curious.

Seeing that the other man was interested, King Hunter hurriedly rattled off an explanation, then added, "No matter which organization or faction you belong to, you can register with the Hunter Alliance. We're neutral and will never interfere in conflicts between any factions. And the identities of all hunters in the Hunter Alliance will absolutely never be disclosed to outsiders. Whether you're human or ghost, you can become a hunter and earn some extra money, right?"
"Human or ghost?" Tyrant King's expression turned subtly unreadable at those words. Neither refusing nor agreeing, he raised a brow and asked, "I'm no longer first in the overall rankings. It seems the person who took first place in Assessment Progress One is someone called Rakshasa Emperor. Why aren't you looking for him?"
This was one of Tyrant King's tests. In truth, he cared greatly about Rakshasa Emperor. He wanted to know exactly who could surpass him.
"Rakshasa Emperor?" King Hunter said bitterly, "I'd like to know who he is first!"
"So you don't know either." Tyrant
